I think that even though Angels may be 'symbols' of Good, even they can be corrupt or whatever. Take a look at the US government... (yes, I live in the US) It's supposed to be good and just and representing their people, but really that's not goin' on. The case could be the same with Imperius.

Well, here is my finished Tyrael. He was pretty hard to do, but i think his wings may have been the most complicated part! This took about 5 hours probably. I cleaned up his wings in Paint with some white for the tips cuz they were pretty dull on the real peice. I have about 8 other drawings, a few of Blizzard stuff, if anyone else is interested in any more. The pose is from my head, and I used the main screen of the D3 site and the concept art with a bunch of peices and views of Tyrael for reference. Enjoy and critique!
For some reason, i feel like those pictures should be going in reverse order.... like hes crashing, coming out of his coccoon of light and fire, and then reveling in his success.

Oh, okay. That's interesting. So what do you think is happening to this angel here? It looks like a decent transformation, and then the conclusion (the last picture) is what? "death" or "falling from grace"?
Very nice post Archanum. It looks like in the first two (not including the black and white sketch) that the fingers are more... i don't know... evil? than Tyrael's. Or more 'evil' than any other angels should be, haha. Do you think these colored pictures are two different angels, seeing as there are a few differences between 1-2 and then 3-5? (5 shouldnt really count since you cant see anything i guess)
Daemaro and Archanum - thank you for your responses! That helped. I was under the impression it would just be Imperius himself casting him out mono y mono. I'm drawing Tyrael right now cuz I freakin' love him, i'll post a link when i'm done if y'all would like
I play on USEast softcore non ladder and have 2 accounts, my dad also has 2 accounts, plus we have about 3 mule accounts. I sure hope these things arent expired!
I just plopped in Diablo after I discovered the announcing of D3 and have been working at it for a week or so. My Sorcerer is probably level 26 or 27 and i'm in the third level of Hell I think. We bought D1 7 or 8 years ago and I never was good enough to beat it, now i'm the furthest i've ever gotten! Glad I started this game up again. After I beat it i'm gonna go beat D2 for probably the 250th time of my life!

But I have a question... How would Imperius cast Tyrael just straight to hell to be whipped around by The Three? Tyrael has to be close to equal power, doesn't he? Fill my brain with more knowledge!
(and don't get me wrong, i've been a hardcore Diablo freak for years. I've read the 3 novels that aren't the Sin War ones and i'm orderein' those soon!)
