Just think .. his daughter will go back to school soon, and say to everyone she spent all last month playing Diablo 3 !!! :cool:
The kids wont know what the hell she's talking about ... although if she has a teacher who's a fan, he'll be asking her stuff and trying to get a demo himself !!!

When I hear Monk, I thought of the old AD&D Monk (back in the day, I played AD&D frequently & tried a Monk class once and loved it)
I agree that peple are connecting him to the Hellfire Monk because they want something from the older days of Diablo to surface in D3. -

I liked it even before we knew that last bit of info (after your drops hit, you can pick then up and drop them at which they become visable to all).
So I guess in theory, if everyone just drops stuff they dont want, you can end up wityh loads of extra items. However, the bad part of that is basically if they see the drop and dont want it, its doubtful in the face pace game, they will take the time to pick it up and drop it. The term "Act 2" was said many times at Blizzcon, so its safe to say there are Acts.
Unless, its just Blizzards way of mentioning different areas of the game. Which I would say is not the case.

If they choose to make it item based, it should be spread across all types of weapons, this way no matter what class you pick (or what build for that matter) there are a couple MF items that you can use successfully.
I dont think I'd like to see scrolls/shrines/etc for an MF boost, only becasue it would be limited to a time frame, and to that area. It like you then need to rush off and try to kill as many guys as possible. Seems uneven to me.

Im sure we are all tired of joining a game, then rushing to quickly type the name and pass and try to get into the next. Once you have a good group of players who are committed to a 50 run game lets say .. they should be able to do it easily.
Great implementation, and I hope it makes it into the final product.

Lets all respect the guy's opinion. Right now, he is not satisfied with the current state of the game, and said so.
As for his points, the only one I can really argue with is "the trailer for the monk class looks total crap compared to the previous trailers" ... I happen to love it, and know its not the final product and will only get better in the coming months. This is where they are right now in the devolpment cycle, it is not the final product.
As for the other stuff, well I guess it has relevancy. I mean the classes are not original, and the 5th class will most likely be a ranger of some sort ... but then again, this is why we love the series. So ... meh ...

I will be using a Female Witch Doctor for my single player experience, and probably a Male Monk for my 1st online character. Or maybe the 5th class, but Im not sold yet.

Might want to check with Asus' website, and download the newest sound driver they have on there.
I might be wrong, as Im not a Vista guy, but it certainly couldnt hurt to check.
