do we have to thank blizzard for creating diablo 3? come on! this is bussiness blizz needs money we need new games we have money to buy the game we like, thats why we did not agree with this freaky World of Diablo
I think the amount of complaining only serves to dishearten Blizzard and stifle their creativity. I personally love the fact that they are taking the franchise somewhere new and using color to convey emotions. It's a big step artistically and the bigger risk.
Making it more akin to previous titles is the easy road.
As we all know, companies that take creative risks are the better ones. Why stifle this?
I personally love large shoulder pads, however if they were toned down, I wouldn't care.

i dont like the cartoony style of the textures of the game, it needs a lot more work, the monastery in d2 looked pretty good, i suggest the Diablo 3 team to start playing diablo 2 LOD for a while so they can LEARN TO RESPECT WHAT DIABLO FRANCHISE IS!!
oversized armors looks baby diablo style, it sucks. i dont wanna play that kind of game from blizzard, im down

- A more realistic artistic direction, more independent from the Warcraft universe art direction.
- Darker dungeons without a blue/green environment, Diablo dungeons are dark and shadowy.
- The return of the light radius / shadow system from Diablo 1 and 2, a concept modified picture made by me roughly shows and suggests how the shadow system should work on Diablo 3: http://i31.tinypic.com/2zta5o7.jpg
- Slightly less colorful and less vivid outside scenarios, they are too heavily influenced by the World of Warcraft ones.
- And most importantly: An independent and renewed artistic direction, not a recycled art direction taken from the Warcraft world, Diablo never was meant to be as cartoon'ish as Warcraft, they shall have independent and distinct styles, this isnt happening in Diablo 3, at first sight it looks like a remake of World of Warcraft, graphically and artistically speaking.
in my honest opinion, im from venezuela and i love play d2lod, i dont want titans quest, i dont want World of Diablo game, i dont want Warcraft in D3 man!!! come on!!! i play starcraft, warcraft 3 (i just dont play WoW coz i dont like the kid style). the 2nd and 3rd option are above the first one, even if people think that blizz is rocking with this baby diablo the only thing i can say is: blizzard should notice that 50% of ppl who loves diablo dislikes this Baby Diablo 3 you are doing. i love you guys but im not getting pleased, Diablo 3 = a Better Diablo 2 LOD.
