It might be the witch doctor (comparisons to necromancer) but it will probably be that one class that other games dont have (if they have really unique classes)
This guy is right. What they will do is they will get all the people who were complaining about the graphics and put them in a pit of death. They will fight to the death then they will shoot the last one. Then they decide who gets to play beta.
But back to the topic, I dont know because i've never been in a beta... do you have to sign a contract like you do if you do an early screening of a movie?
But seriously, I'd play a Diablo MMO. It might be a bad idea, and might be hard to implement considering the story and the fact that it's known for it's isometric view, but that never stopped WoW.
The heat is finally dying down... I remember right after G4, being the little dickwads they are, put that up, i went to the signature page and i'd refresh every 5 seconds and there would be at least 2 new signatures. Shows how stupid I am for watching that channel.
At this rate, we wont be fighting Diablo, we will be waging war on our fellow Diablo fans. The game looks fine, and we gotta trust blizzard, i mean, look at starcraft's before and after pics for god's sakes.
More than 1M overnight. Imagine all those OGs (original gamers) who first got their hands on the game and quit after they got dumped to non-ladder. This will be Epic.
Do you guys think Leah, that girl from the trailer and the one who probably saw that meteor land would be equivalent to D2's Marius? Not equivalent in cowardice and stupidity, but as a character whose story we follow who have close ties to the main villians (diablo etc.). Or will we get to meet her..
I love topics like these where we can talk about the good things in the game.
I'm really interested in that city in the trailer, I would LOVE to go to that city. And imagine all the other cities Blizz could put in (Sanctuary hasnt been fully explored). There are so many things I want to know about this guy (like who is leah).
"It was awarded a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records 2000 edition for being the fastest selling computer game ever sold, with more than 1 million units sold in the first two weeks of availability;[9] according to the 2008 Guinness Gamer's Edition, the title still holds the record."
Anyway, think about the amount of people who have played diablo, at least 25% will be back, and thats probably well over a million if you think 25%. 8 years later look at the amount of people playing...
I for one love the fact that Blizzard is making D3. In fact, I couldnt be happier, glee would be the best word to describe it, but those people moaning about the graphics is ruining the experience of finally having Big Red back. Other than that, everything is great, I didnt see anything wrong AT ALL with the gameplay because what we want is Diablo 3, not Diablo 2: Diablo 3 the expansion. It's time to move on people, some things arent coming back. Even my dear necro (cries).
Characters like Diablo, Superman, Jesus, etc. never truly die. They just get resurrected through some as of yet unforeseen plot twist. Have you actually seen a movie lately?
I saw passion of the christ, that guy just wont die. Jesus!

Glad we are beating WoW and of course, that cunning Nancy Drew. Wait, wtf? NANCY DREW?
Also, im wondering, do the developers get royalties because Diablo is still selling or do they just get a salary and the big wigs get the dough?
