The part of the game play video where the barb makes that wall his bitch really has me intrigued. Are all walls damageable? Ie, could it possibly be that we could just tear through any thin wall, or do you think it'll be limited to just those set up for special situations?
I'm picturing a juggernaut type of deal with the barb just ripping through a couple rooms rather than go through bottleneck after bottleneck. Somehow I doubt the environments will be this destructible, but I guess basically what Im asking is, to what extent do you think destructible environments will play a role in game play? Any interesting ideas for where they might go with this?
In the new cinematic you've got a big evil army marching around... really makes me thing a lot of this will center around a war in sanctuary. Also, it seems they're implementing the ability for the game to manage much more large scale encounters and monsters, think we might see some warzone scenarios?
As far as I can tell, there's not much reason to rule out Diablo, Mephisto and Baal playing big roles again. Doesn't it stand to reason that destroying the soul stones would simply release their souls again? Maybe I'm wrong, been a good bit since I've played/read...
I'm all about having Diablo as our main baddie again... to me nothing rivals the buildup from D1 of those last couple levels before you finally see that fucker. I know 8 year old me had nightmares that night!
Personally, I believe I've read a couple hints dropped that the heavens might be involved, whether through a corrupted Tyrael, or someone bigger we've not yet met.
