well, the barbarian could.
since melee oriented classes can always use a bow to draw a mob to it then hack it to pieces or shoot at it until it comes into melee range
that's what i do in MMOs anyway

Aug 23, 2009Valtonis posted a message on BlizzCon's Saturday Diablo III Art Panel Coveragei agree with Musica. the reason why i prefer Diablo 1 to Diablo 2 is because of the atmosphere that something bad is gonna happen and not the gore.Posted in: News
D1 did it alot better than D2, the first time i encountered the Butcher i got scared out of my boots and it was not because of the gore in the room, since i didn't even have a good look at it before running (well, walking) the hell out of there
and it is great that they are putting alot of work into the details, which is really the difference between a good game and a great one -

it has been my wish for a class like that since the game was announced and i am just so happy that my wish has been granted

not just on monks for those that haven't seen it yet.
it seems to be 50% monk (solo) and 50% 4 player party (all announced classes represented)

after seeing the gameplay videos i would think that one of the reasons for a smaller party would be the maps.
4 players seem to be just right for the map size, 8 would be mean the maps would get cramped around bridges and access roads

never liked DC stuff, batman movies i can enjoy but not games, comics etc
plus, i never ever concern myself with "professional" game reviewers since there are just too much instances where the reviews depend on how much money they get paid

The Witcher is one of the best RPGs ever made.
it is definitely gonna go down as one of the classics
and the company that made is one of the most fan friendly ever

if Bill Roper and his cronies weren't out to just skim gamers of their money and actually tried to put out a good game, it would have been one of the best games ever.
i played for a long time and got to know alot of good friends whom i still keep in touch till now.
but the game itself is fun until you got further along and it is the same tileset and mobs over and over again
i have sworn to never ever go near a game made by any of those scammers from Flagship and i ams till keeping to it

it doesn't matter if stuff were faked, it still gives you a good idea of what to do in a survivor situation

Can't wait for the fight.
but on a side note, "Rampage" Jackson is having a crap week/month
after losing the Light Heavyweight title to Forrest, then getting arrested for a hit-and-run.
he is such a nice guy that i really feel for him

Agreed.
If Gretzky played today at his prime, he would still wipe the rink with the opponents behind.

Hellgateguru.com has picked up on an article from thisisgame.com, a Korean news site. I’ll just let it do the talking.

the game wasn't rushed.
they had more than enough time to make the game good.
they just didn't spend that time well.
as i posted before FSS with HGL had the longest development time and resources of any indie titie released last year.
CD Projekt Red Studio had much much less and they made a AAA game in The Witcher

False Advertisements doesn't count as conning people?
giving promises which were never kept doesn't count as conning people?
saying one thing and doing another doesn't count as conning people?
they even conned their own distributors by saying everything is ok when everything is not.
the story goes..
the Southeast asian version is released a day earlier than the US/EU version because of time difference.
FSS knowing withheld the vital info that the game CANNOT work properly out of the box without first patching to the fable Patch 0.
thus, gamers went online played then realised that they are screwed, stuck on level 20+ and the SEA distributor, IAH had no way of fixing it as the unpatched multiplayer server had a database that does not and cannot be patched to Patch 0.
IAH's solution was a wipe (that was day 1, post launch). they referred back to FSS for permission and Bill Roper said, no.
and that FSS would solve the problem, it took 1 month more IIRC before the server were patched to Patch 0.
but the solution is not a remedy but merely a band-aid on the problem as the buggy database builds up and caused more and more problems as the days went past.
by then the US/EU servers were way ahead in terms of patches but SEA was still stuck, no subscription, no nothing. it was finally patched up to patch 0.7 months after the US/EU server but still no subscription, no additonal content, no nothing.
and at this point in time the SEA version is still at 0.7
why? becasue FSS wants more money before releasing then content (this is info from people working at IAH who would get sacked if named)
at that is just the tip of the iceberg
