Heh, it's not that hard to do if you have a different sized screen.

Just go to blizzard.com, center the logo, print screen and paste into paint or photoshop and crop out the outer interface.

I think this image represents what we want to see in this Diablo game perfectly.

    The cinematic trailer, as well.

THAT'S what it should look like.

Just look at the difference in artwork to actual product.

The artwork is gritty and realistic.

The actual product is full of shitty textures and cartoony influence.

    posted a message on Witchdoctor...hmmmm
Necromancer would make way more sense lore wise seeing as the game has to do much more with evil than tribal spirits.

I loved the necromancer and I truly hope Blizzard brings him back.

I would be severely dissapointed if this witchdoctor fellow was his replacement.

One big reason is how differently they look like they play. The witchdoctor looks extremely slow paced when as a necromancer you cast spells and attacked much quicker.

I'm not too concerned about it being evil, just the fact that EVERYTHING looks like a recycled texture out of World of Warcraft.

The characters, the terrain, the enemies.

Seriously, did you see the gameplay with the undead mages that if you don't kill quickly turn into demonic liches?

They look exactly like characters from WoW.

I agree wholeheartedly. Blizzard would be making a HUGE mistake if they went with this art style for release. How can they expect us to play such a dark game with a dark story without a dark setting. (Dark as the feeling not the color).

There's no grit in the new game so far. We need gothic, dark, miserable, and gritty textures. Not some that you recycled from WoW.

I just want to send a letter to blizzard telling them something along the lines as:

"We know that WoW is extremely popular, but please FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PLEASE keep it's god damn art style out of your other games. It doesn't fit at all."

I hope to god Blizzard checks these forums.

The characters are so WoW like. Have you seen the dialogues? Oh my god. They are so ridiculously cartoony it isn't even funny.

Please Blizzard change the game! Don't let down all of us loyal Diablo fans!

Here's how I look at it. The new Diablo world has become much more brighter in the absence of evil.

I wouldn't be surprised if the gameplay they have shown us thus far is gameplay BEFORE the meteor and evil comes back.

At least, I hope that's the case.

Even if it isn't I do wish it was a bit more gritty. NOT DARKER. Just more grit, more dark FEELING.

If they could do what they did to that desert in Diablo II, I'm sure they can give the same feeling to all of this brightness.
