Anyone else who's read Kingdom of Shadow notice this part of the cinematic trailer?
I know when I read the book, thats almost exactly the image I got in my head of Ureh (Khan's palace), and Mt. Nymyr. Also, when they show this clip, the narrator of the cinematic says "and the shadow once again crawls across out world" or something like that. Kinda fits in with the whole kindom of shadow thing. Could be Gregus Mazi's lair carved into the mountain side on the left even.
Ureh is on the new D3 map too. Wonder if its gonna be one of the places we go to in D3? What do you guys think?
I wonder if they'll have necro and witch doctor classes? Seems unlikely, but in the Diablo novels, the Necro seems so be a really important class. I can't see blizzard just dropping them entirely. Unless they have some necro NPC's in there just to try and stay true to the lore. Could be added in an x-pac too. Witch doctor seems more similar to the druid than the necro to me. Kinda a combination of the 2 actually.
Don't pencil it in right now. Alot can happen from here to release.
Ya, no doubt. That could even just be concept art, who knows. So much could change between now and release. Look how much they didnt put in D2 that they were considering.
Wow, great find! That pretty much confrims the Druid Class unless thats an NPC and we get to learn about where the druids came from etc.
Ya, true. Could be a druid NPC. I couldn't really see them bringing the druid back for D3 as a playable character. Witch Doctor seems fairly similar to the druid, minus the shape-shifting as it is.
Hey. Anyone else notice that about 1/3 of the way through the movie on the media section of the D3 site titled 'Artwork Trailer' it shows what looks like a female druid holding a snake wearing a bearskin cloak? Wonder if they're planning on putting the druid in the game?
