Ive had this problem as well, but i was able to fix it through some setting in the firewall. If you right click your network connection icon and go to properties, there should be a tab for security where you can make an exception for local connections going through.
I would like to see a little randomization in the lore. Not major components but little things that will make the story a little different everytime, much like the dungeons.
