One gem to upgrade whatever skill you want, you can still select the "skill rune", but the level is bound to the gem.

But yeah, can't wait for D3 to be released and be a big hit. Some guys can't stop trolling and being doomsayers... or they just can't think for themself and take a look at what the game provide ^^;

yeah sure... when you kill an enemy and an item randomly pop up, it's my fault if my cursor happen to be under it when it drops -_-;

@moomoo: Path of Exile has the right solution. Press Alt to enable picking items when you hover them and click on them.
@ScyberDragon: it's less a pain in the ass because most of the time you already press Alt after a fight to see what the enemies dropped (I was testing the "show items for 10s" setting). So, instead of picking random crap on the ground, you would press Alt if there's something interesting and pick up what you want (or nothing if there's just crap). It could be nice aswell to show automatically stats when you hover them, instead to have to press CTRL.
The game is one month away from release and there's still basic stuff like that not in the game. I wasn't in the beta but I wonder if other people reported these stuff...

I don't know what's the current count, but right now, there are too much...

but yeah, most of the time, it happens when I switch skills (right click then left click) or when I move after a fight.
@Nuvian: yeah, a simple way to fix that would be to have to hold Alt to pick up stuff, that's how PoE do it when you enable the setting.
I hope they do something about it...

No one mentioned that while the game was in beta?
For example, there's an option on Path of Exile to force pickup when you press alt, instead of picking up everything.
I end up filling my inventory with garbage...
