And didnt in Act 1 diablo started pretty gruesome. Even if it was just 20minutes of the start of the game I expected more blood everywhere but you didnt see that. I did like that first boss. I just hope that perhaps they havnt decided if corpses and blood should stain the walls I hope they decide to change that because I think it would greatly change the feeling of the game to something more along the lines of D2 where corpses and blood stayed put.

I completely understand the idea of a dark mood. But when I see people post stuff like this (or this or this), they have changed nothing but color.

If they want to ask Blizzard to add different details or textures to change the mood, that would be a different discussion.

Ahhh okay! Ya just turning down the saturation. I can understand how people dont like that. I kind of like how when its done the red and purple stands out more. Ya I they could use the colors they have but more so-change where they use the colors. I would actually like to see more greys but only because I think it would look could with contrast against some of the brighter colors. Theres also the fact when you see the lootable corpses they look nothing like the ones in D2 all bloody and what not.

In the end I think blizzard will change it but it will probably be things like the character model, textures and more random blood on the ground not so much the saturation like people want but in the example you do tend to get a foggy look look and I wouldnt mind seeing stuff like that in the game.

I agree about the gargoyle entirely. My biggest worry, though, is that they don't understand what the work dark means in regards to mood.

I think most people do understand they when people say dark they refer to atmosphere and the mood but there seems to be a lot of fanatic fan boys just starting stuff (and throwing a lot of insults around) just because someone would DARE disagree with blizzards view. I meen really! How dare the fans voice their opinions and about what they like and dislike so blizzard can change their product so when its finished will attract more consumers and make them a larger ammout of money! For shame!

Well, clearly I must be wrong. It's Blizzard's game. Who am I to tell them I know something about their games that they don't?

Well its your opinion. Its feedback. They can build upon and if enough people were to agree with you blizzard could edit the game and make you and the people like you enjoy the game that much more. Nothing wrong with disagreeing.

Also Zellog dont get all defensive because you got called a child when you just called someone else a "moron" Yes... I can see how the adults are the more mature people. *coughs*

One thing this interview tells me is that those of us who are fine with the current graphics and think the dissenters are remembering DI and DII with a sort of romanticized darkness now have to surrender that argument point.

Even though I disagree, I am not about to sit here and contradict Keith Lee.

Um.. actually you just did contradict her since you just said you disagree...

I agree, let it die. You'll have room to complain when the game is actually release and you see the final product. Until then everything is subject to change and I am sure Blizzard knows what they are doing.

So wai.. wha.. you want us to "complain" about whats wrong with the game when its done.. OF COURSE EVERYTHING IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE thats why we voice our opinions now so it can get changed befor its to late then blizzard might decide to start changing stuff but it just adds another 6 months to the release day. Its better we voice our opinions now.

Just because you make the smoke greenish blue in a dungeon wont make it scary. It works in theory but in practice I think around 15,000 people disagree. EDIT: Actually thats 1651 sigs.

Yes, and those 14,229 people are essentially saying that Blizzard shouldn't be making the game with their merged complaints. They want D1 and D2. They're not going to get D1 and D2 in Diablo 3, as it's a completely different dev team and design philosophy.

You want the right to complain? Try being a Fallout fan.

another example about how people resort to swearing just because someone else has a different opinion.

As far as most people should be concerned, civility went right out the window when you guys started that disrespectful petition against Blizzard, despite all of their hard work and effort to make Diablo 3 possible after so many years of thankless development.

How is it disrespectful? People are just voicing their opinion! Thats not disrespectful! Its what people- O my gosh... disrespectful because people dont like something? *counts down from 10 to 1 slowly* Its just an opinion. Thankles development? Oh ya.. thanks blizzard for making this game so you can make tons of money. Its not a gift to us or anything they want money. Ya its cool they are making diablo 3 but we dont have to thank them for it. How... how did civility go out the window because people wanted something changed? This is just an excuse your useing to insult people just because they want an art direction changed...

Thankless development? THERE GONNA GET MILLIONS WHEN ITS RELEASED! Thats a pretty good thank you...

Well, i like the color. the dungeon was dark enough for me and the trailer looked good. /sign

Also, if bliz really would change art design, that would delay the game for a long time! nobody needs that!! D:

What if later in the game the dungeons never got darker and the atmosphere never changed remember in diablo 2 in the first act there was a lot of corpses all through out it. Just the ones lieing on the ground you could click for items were drenched in blood. So what if later they show more content and it isnt that much different from what they showed they if people complained then and blizzard decided to change it think about all the time that could of been saved if they had started changing it now.
