The currency of Wow is gold. The currency of D2 is anything and everything that has been copied and copied and copied. I'd like Diablo 3 have the same integrity that WoW has. However, that is accomplished is fine by me.

tl;dr, in summary: There's nothing to gain from making D3 P2P that shouldn't come with it anyways.

WoW is hacked liked crazy ... All games will be hacked ... WarCraft 3 was hacked much less than SC/D2, and battle.net has come A LOOOOONG way since Diablo (I). Much more people are banned for hacking in WarCraft 3 than in Diablo 2/StarCraft where you can pretty much hack as long as you want with no consequences. It's all about the infastructure as said before. This isn't a MMORPG; a monthly fee cannot be justified. This isn't Xbox Live where you pay just because ...

You should get the Sin War trilogy. I recommend them the most. Although, Legacy of Blood is absolutely great, in my opinion. I saw I recommend the trilogy because it gives you sooooo much back story, and explains the world to you in a way you would never get in the game. The other books are basically adventures that happen in the Diablo universe.

Here's another question :D; Let's say I had a full complete retail version disc of Diablo III.. How much would you pay for it to have it right now?

If you like Diablo II-type games, then you'll enjoy Titan Quest. It's nowhere near as good as Diablo II (of course), and doesn't have the replay value that battle.net has. Plus, the items aren't as interesting to collect..

Basically, if you're not in the mood to play a lot of Diablo (I)/II, and want to play a game like it, then Titan Quest fits better than almost any other game.

I'm actually playing more Diablo (I), than Diablo II: Lord of Destruction

Crazy, I know, but I did my last Diablo II binge a few months ago, and I haven't played Diablo (I) in ages ... Probably since Diablo II came out.
