Do you really and honestly believe they'd give away an obvious hint just a day before the game is shown? Moreover, do you REALLY think they'd be saying "Surprise, it's WOTLK!" When that surprise was already given away?

If blizzard follows suite, the next splash screen will make the hearts of Diablo fans rise, and the one after that one will make them sink. Then saturday...
But they won't give a noticeable hint away before they announce the game.
On a side note; people claiming to have seen a purple diablo fan art might be correct. (I know I havent)
But when I google a purple diablo, diabloii . net seems to have a purple diablo in fan art gallery, and It has been removed. So I'm only guessing blizzard could have made them remove the fan art, if that is really that purple diablo. (Go easy with flames )
Blizzard decides what to put up for fan art. They don't need permission to take something down.
like what you said flamingdts, i doubt that Blizzard would make a teaser of this proportion for a game that's already announced. it won't make any sense.
Honestly, Blizzard is not going to make a "OMG super secret splash screen" for a game that's already been announced. A dumbass game company wouldn't do that, and Blizzard is not a dumbass game company. They've done this again and again -- make you think it's one thing, then reveal it's another. Or better yet - they confuse the F*** out of you, so you end up grasping for straws that really aren't there.
