Ok I registered just to get this off my chest...the picture is nothing.. I don't think it has anything to do with Diablo. If I remember correctly, when StarCraft II was announced, the splash pages showed every game. Warcraft to Diablo to Starcraft to World of Warcraft, it showed everything. The runes just mean the same thing. I don't know what the face has to do or the penguin. It's probably just there lol..seriously..I know yall are trying to decipher the image go ahead have fun You won't know nothing till maybe 2 days. I'm pretty sure they are going to announce Diablo 3. It's all there. It's been stated that there would be a possibility of a new one, they have been hiring personnel to work with Diablo 1 and 2 designers. There is even the domain whois. However, its not concrete. StarCraft2.com was registered by one of my friends because it was a fan site and one day he told me Blizzard bought it. It took about 3 to 4 years until they announced it, which in my opinion has been in planning for about that long. Diablo 3 will be announced most probably. The splash page though is just a splash page. They do it for every release of a new game. I doubt it has anything to do with WarCraft related releases, we have had enough of those :D. Can't be StarCraft..it was announced May 18, 2007. If you want to see the previous splash screens that Blizzard had for StarCraft II announcement you can search blizzard previous splashes in google images. It shows you them there. I don't know how those splashes are StarCraft II related but it was meant to throw people off. So is this. It's what Blizzard does with its fan base. It likes to have fun. 80% guys says its Diablo 3. It can't be anything else. I doubt its The Lost Vikings...that's a canceled franchise. It could be BlackThorne, something new that Blizzard could be in the works for but probably not...The image that will most likely come out is the Lich King...but it doesn't matter, it's just a splash page. Same with StarCraft II, those splashes meant nothing other than a new release is coming out. However, if you believe the splash means something , and I think its fun too, I believe that by showing all the runes, they will probably release something of a new Battle.net with something with an arcade place much like Xbox arcade for the Blizzard classics, who knows. I highly doubt its going to be lich king, if it isn't diablo 3 kids are gonna rage so hard and like go to blizzard entertainment, LOL.
