i dont see what the big deal is about the graphics, i think they are great, and it keeps the dark and gloomy d2 atmosphere and there is a shitload of gore as well while having better graphics so imo there is nothing to bitch about there, the things crawling up the walls to attack the barb was just awesome, skill graphics seem to be improved, seems to be more talking in the game as well which is actually a good thing imo, keep up with the story, unlike d2 where you don't even want to have the sound on while playing the game because its just annoying. I wish they had announced all the classes but im still very happy to be able to see the gameplay video and this is definately a great day for us diablo fans, even if we do have to wait 2 years or more to actually play it.
btw since noone has mentioned it yet someone gave all the info of diablo 3 in a thread here a few days ago and they were spot on lol, barb with charge, witch doctor class, noone believed him iirc
omg so happy finally our time, might not see it for 3 years but just so glad its official, barb looks badass, oh and the "comet" in the storyline, the ice and space background in splash finally make sense

Filed under: Analysis / Opinion, Fan stuff, Odds and ends, Blizzard, Rumors Our good friends at Gamedaily recently got a chance to sit down and talk with Rob Pardo, VP of Blizzard, and he dropped hints about yet another new game that they might be working on. No, not Starcraft II, or the rumored Diablo 3, or even the long-awaited (and unfortunately, probably never coming) Lost Vikings sequel. Nope -- he hinted that after the release of Starcraft II, whenever that happens, Blizzard's RTS team might be hard at work on... Warcraft IV.
Don't hold your breath, of course (this is Blizzard we're talking about) -- this would be after the current real-time strategy game is done, and Pardo says it would be "one of the the ideas on the table," so it's not exactly in the planning stages yet. But it's interesting to hear that Blizzard may still return to the Warcraft universe under the RTS banner -- we've seen such a different aspect of the world in the MMO, it would be very strange to go back to controlling these units from the top down.
Pardo also says that a console version of WoW is pretty much out of the question at this point -- if there is going to be a super-successful console MMO, it's not going to be World of Warcraft, as this game was designed for PC and has gone through so many iterations since that Blizzard isn't at all interested in trying a port. We are still waiting for that playable version of the Molten Core console game, though...

Blizzard is owned by Vivendi, which is about to participate in a huge merger with Activision (they make the Call of Duty Games and Guitar Hero, etc). Could it be a teaser related to this?
doubtful, although blizzard is owned by vivendi they are their own company and the merger will have no effect on blizzard itself or their games

yes because it's obviously not for certain to be something until it's proven, which is what i've been trying to explain to people all along, everyone is looking in the image for proof of diablo and coming up with circumstantial evidence, but if you were to do that with any of the titles you'd get circumstantial evidence leading you to believe it's one of those titles instead, basically what I mean is you want it to be diablo 3 so bad that your brain is telling you that's exactly what it is, and this doesn't make it true

I am sure you understand that's the symbol of Evil/Devil, and it has everything to do with Diablo, what does Pentagram has anything to do with Starcraft or Warcraft?
