Yellow eyes... teeth... eyebrow ridge too wide to be a protoss.
Seems like diablo to me.

the cheeckbones underneath the eyes, as well as the color of the eyes and the gas emanating from the eyes, indicate that what is behind the ice is indeed a protoss.
You can even see the speckles underneath the eyes where the protoss have their little "freckle" markings.

As for the runes:

Frostmoune
Hell
Starcraft
Pax Imperium
Lost Vikings

Also, the hidden picture is a vulture made up from the numbers of lost.
The final picture was called "Harbinger"
The lost numbers indicate the extinction of humanity, the exact date...
The vulture is the harbinger of the extinction of humanity? what the hell is that supposed to mean?

Just a quick bit of info... on the index2 (main blizzard page after splash) of the blizzard webpage there was a job listed for 3d artist to work for blizzard "the developer of diablo and diablo2" ... why would they not mention starcraft/warcraft in that statement?
Now, that job has been retracted from the jobs page, and clicking it got a 404.
It seems it was only on the page for half hour or so.
This seems to point that YES, d3 will be announced.
No, they havent started working on it :_(
