I can prove the first theory isn't true (sadly) since the first time i killed SK was with a barbarian and he dropped a yellow bow then
Edit - unless this was changed in the last patch ofc, haven't tried playing since then (waiting for my Dell Ultrasharp U2711 to arrive next week before I once again bask in the glory of the D3 beta :P)
Just yesterday a HC monk I made got a rare two-handed sword and it made me remember how much of a bummer it is that monks can't use two handed swords. Take away the axes and the hammers (although schaefers is pretty awesome) but give the monk a two-handed sword god dammit!
I never got a ring x( What's wrong with me? I kill everything and there is no ring x(
It's okay between me, my brother and my friend only 2 rings were found in patch 15 one with 3%mf and one was +1-2 dmg both interestingly enough dropped fromt he skeleteons just before the skeleton king. Leads me to belive the drops int he beta are EXTREMELY limited.
After viewing comments on this topic over the last few months I have a feeling that we are all going to be proven very wrong, on purpose. Fans have been teasing blizzard for long enough asking whther inforno was going to be hard making it seem like you couldn't make a game that we couldn't beat. I get the feeling blizzard is make everyone eat their word by making act IV of inferno virtually unbeatable. Mark these words, only a very small percentage of us will beat inferno after a very long time (or spending a lot of money). You see all of speculation that it is going to be easy will only be looked at as an opportunity for blizzard to make the RMAH all the more appealing, having an impossible to beat end game will drive people crazy and force them to buy an upgrade to their gear.
I looks as if I will be levelling a monk and barb simultaneously at least for the first month and a bit. I'll be playing the monk wit 3 of my friends (4 player parties fit us well) and when I want to play alone I'll level a monk. I want to use a two handed sword, honestly if monks could have used two handed swords I would have waiting a few more chars to make a barb.
Another thing is, I never end up fidning good items for the classes I'm palying. If I'm lucky I'll be able to divide the loot between the chars. That slow the journey to inferno yeah, but there will be those days were you play all day to make up for that.
SunSetMars has little to do with monks or demons and whatnot and it has more to do with this picture. That is a sunset on mars, I think I spent over half an hour staring at the picture. I like astronomy, Mars is out in north american skies around this time of year but I'm too busy to use my telescope. How about LastBlueTiger?
Too many uninformed fears up in herrrrr. Higher level items, even just outside of the beta's range, are one of the biggest mysteries about the game yet. It's a good thing something is still mysterious D3 has been really spoiled. Has it been confirmed that all the weapon affixes are in the beta? I doubt it considering if these are all the affixed legendaries can have then that sucks.
Specific details aside, the most intising aspect about class specific weapons is the availability of highest tear weapons. Yeah if you want to find best sword for all your characters it's going to be rough because there is a much bigger pool of playaers and different classes that want that sword. If you go class specific the bidding war won't be as brutal and you are more likely to get your hands on that awesome class specific weapon as opposed to the generic weapon thousands of gamers are clamouring for.
How could you dislike blue tiger, it's a real life mythical creature. Far more fascinating than the dodo bird or other extinct animals. I'm sorry to say bluetiger is almost final with the whole chinese monk thing. Also, I always liked using King from tekken, he's got a leopard head but whatever. I kind of like it that people think it's some lame-ass cliche tiger name but there was actually more thought put into it then they'd think, In a way I'm doing my favorite thing in life TROLLING. As far as I know the diadem (blue) monkey is the only mammal is distinctly blue fur.
I'll save you the google search and pretty much the maltese tiger (blue tiger) is a certain species of tiger with a blue/grey coat that is only suspected of ever existing by eye witness tales. Nobody knows for sure seeing as even regular tigers are rare and increasingly endangered.
I might save sunsetmars for the wiz (unless I call her sailormars)
Also, I got two good ones I can't choose between for my barb:
-Hungryburps
-Bloodysteel
Also, Blizzard has already stated that there is absolutely no reason to leave a skill unruned. Therefore, you really should only count 5 variations per skill, not 6.
This doesn't hold true until you have unlocked all the skills. Sometime the unruned skill willw ork best for the build until maybe the last rune is unlocked.
I'll definatly give it a shot, wave of light is the monk's kamahameha. There needs to be a lot of focus on making the generators powerful enough on there own while you generate 100 spirit. If the unruned skill is good enough then empowered wave will bring the cost down to a reasonable 60spirirt.
No particle effects was already confirmed, and if this 'unique' they speak of is anything like the difference between rogue and abyssal then I wouldn't expect much. And assuming they aren't going to make them Rainbow coloured even if your right they will probably end up being a shade inbetween rogue and abyssal (pale and purity) unless they make it some other obscure color.
Didn't even flinch. You knew this all along, I've seen all the photos and videos and there is no difference between the CE dyes and their single-use counterparts. If you want a particle effect use your imagination. Don't be mad at least you'll be able to sell pale and rogue dyes that you find to the have nots althought, I don't think pale and rogue will be among the most expensive dyes anyways. Being able to dye your armor a black or white shade means you really only need 1 or 2 other (preferably colored) dyes for each char if you want you look badass.
Here's what I think Blizz is doing. The wings are the thing that makes you stick out amongst the crowd an $40 extra dollars or something like that. When the wings are turned off if your armor dye will also be greatly distinguishable from the rest than you would always stick out and might not always want that to be the case. When your wings are off no on will be the wiser about what version you bought. Also a particle effect would be much better than any dye and would devalue even the rarest dyes. Particle effect dye would be best left as an item that drops only. From what I think is going to happen the CE dyes will have a minimal impact on the economy of the game. The CE dyes are going to be an awesome convience and I see them as a thank you from Blizz for being awesome fans (aka customers).

Anyone know what the dye remover will cost?
