A few noticeable things, A. Do NOT drop hydras first, many white packs you won't even need them. I prefer to Twist, then Blizz right after, sometimes blizz first if Winged Assassin's or other charging mobs. Use Hydra last, ideally when you have 5 stacks of Bastion, and always max distance from pack and still hit it because of Zei's. You are missing a LOT of hydra damage casting them as you stated. 60% from Arcane Dynamo which snapshots, x% on Zei's depending on lvl because of range, and half the multiplicative damage from FnR, because you are casting elec after hydra's, again, it snapshots.

IF you can see the pack far enough ahead to drop a hydra between you and them without aggroing it can add dmg, but leet packs and RG, always want FnR buffs both up, 5 stacks of dynamo to buff EACH hydra, and cast hydras as far back as you can and still hit them.

Yes use hydra first. Use dynamo when you can but casting a quick hydra early means it gets to attack while you work on ramping up.

The reason you cant get higher is because you need high GR gearing. That means Unity/Halo of Arlyse/Ancient Parthan Defenders for rings and bracer. If you are still dying you can also do 2 piece firebird in shoulder/boots.
Also, twister turns into teleport calamity, and teleport speed passive is needed, and ofc ice armor for the ring.

He is not playing melee Tal's, he is playing ranged Tal's, they are both viable but two completely different things...

    Also, this is interesting http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/17085850012#3

He/She probably took glass to try and up the damage some, Arcane Presence is a good option.

I wouldn't suggest using Elec first on pulls personally, things will aggro and come at you. It does get the FnR buff up faster though, if you do elec first just do it once, the damage from twist and blizz arent really worth the Arcane Dynamo 5 stack, you will die.

It is all very situational though as to which you cast first in my experience. In the end though, damage wise, max the buffs before dropping hydras at range.

posted a message on Mantr of Salvation Agility rune broken?

142 views and zero replies, is anyone else experiencing this issue? Am I losing it? The tooltip says "gives you and your allies 20% increased resistance to all elements and 35% increased dodge chance", buuut, it is NOT giving any dodge chance, only increased resist. If i use Blinding Speed on DS i get the 40%, but absolutely nothing (aside from the AR) from Agility rune......

So I noticed today that the agility rune is not giving any dodge chance, it is giving 20% resist, but no dodge. Broken? Bugged? Am I missing something?

ALL of that aside, you are not one shotting anything with your palm, or carrying anyone. Your palm doesn't do initial damage so someone obviously (a Barb probably) came in to blow them up. You're the reason why people are starting to hate my favorite class.

No damage from Sunwuko initially or every palm after? You words of wisdom are awe inspiring sir....Palm is definitely a huge carry skill, though carry may be a poor choice of words. Call it what you want, the EP is doing most of the damage in 35 gr's until RG. 77 gems? 1% runs all day? I mean really.... stop talking.

DH does more damage than my other classes. Please fix it Blizzard..... we want a homogenized game where everything is equal and the same with different names. It's just "fair".

Don't feel too terrible. Over 1K hours on Crusader and Barb and so far, one Furnace with Dex, one with Int. Talk about trolled.... sigh... worst of it was neither had decent enough stats to roll main to str like this one. LpH or some crap, had to go.

Yes Maximus has nice dmg, and is not totally useless in a Firestarter build. Darklight has a couple benefits for this build, it is one hand hence you can use the one hand passive for IAS and CDR, HUGE help getting to 56%. Darklight doesn't have fire dmg so can also potentially roll Dmg range, Str, Vit, CDR. Heaven's Tempest is THE best skill for stacking the dot for firestarter, Darklight procs make it even more so, as well as the faster attack speed. Vigilante Belt is just a Leg. belt that can roll up to 8% CDR.

Keep in mind when playing with this build and testing damage, the Firestarter damage is a dot, so will not show up in yellow crit numbers, it will show up as white numbers, and once it starts stacking you should start seeing ticks in the hundreds of millions.

Here is a guide to firestarter, http://www.reddit.com/r/Diablo3Crusaders/comments/2620sf/how_to_fire_starter_crusader_torment_vi_detailed/.

Some info may be outdated. Scroll down I'm sure there is newer below if anything changed.

NO. Increasing the IAS will make the DPS (damage per second) go up because you would be attacking faster, BUT, it would have zero effect on the Weapon Damage, the range under DPS, which is what all skills are based on.

The previous poster seems to have failed to mention, you will use Firestarter rune with AC for this build. This is the true key to this build, not heaven's tempest, as far as damage is concerned. HT is decent and is fire so will do moderate damage, but, it and Heaven's Fury/Blessed Ground(instead of falling sword OR consecration (great skills, but this is a very mobile build and don't work well imo)) are two, if not the two, best ways to stack the dots for Firestarter quickly. Eventually you will want 6 set or 5 and RoRG from act 1 caches, along with Darklight(1 hand Flail) preferably. Fire% lidless wall, eberli charo (for more dots from HF/Blessed Ground) are decent shields for this build. Any other complementing fire gear will help, I.E. ammy, SoJ(ring), Reaper's Wraps with fire%(bracer) will help. 56% CDR(cooldown reduction( is the magic number once you have Akhans 6 set bonus, remember it is multiplicative not additive so the more you get the less change you will see on sheet CDR. It is not terribly hard to attain with one hand weapon. You will ideally want it on shoulders/gloves/weapon/helm gem/shield and can also get it on Vigilante belt, or if using RoRG with 5 set Captain Crimson belt and legs/boots (crafted, 10% CDR REQUIRES RORG TO GET AKHAN AND CAPTAINS BONUSES). You can also get CDR on rings but it is tough to get CDR along with a socket and decent stats, try not to use rings for CDR unless you need it to reach the 56% mark.
