Oct 4, 2014Speaker posted a message on RIP Turbohud, creator called it quits.Plot twist - Some people play the game for their own entertainment, not to compete with the masses. Turbo hud made the game more enjoyable for people such as I, and now that it is gone it is time to move away from this game until things are made more enjoyable again. Hopefully blizzard will finally realize that players like options, such as ingame stats, and HUD's, instead of giving players absolutely no choice in the customization of the UI and what information is displayed.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

The point being is, you have to be INCREDIBLY paranoid to believe someone completely changes there spec and gear in order to TROLL people about how they are clearing Grifts.
Also consider this, just because YOU don't like the set or think the set is useless does not mean other's do or other people haven't found a build that works for it. You can believe it's luck all you want, but obviously Mooshi has found a use for the set if she/he is clearing Grift 42 with it. -

Controllers by their nature are much less precise than a mouse. I play on both PC and console, and while I really enjoy the console experience I have to admit that sometimes my character does some amazingly boneheaded things due to the limitations of pointing the big dumb bastard with a controller. Shuffle, shuffle, shuffle, fail.Quote from RoguexAI wonder if it's Elective mode that you think is hindering your build playstyle? Enable that in the Options (I play on PS4 and PC) and you'll have just as much flexibility as other people do on PC.
Must say that even with D3 on max on my PC, it feels nicer on console.
But more so to your original question (LOL) give this build a shot until you get more of the Akkhans gear-set.

That said, I second your build recommendation. Though the shield throwing aspect of it could get interesting in certain areas with a controller. If I had a crusader on console, that's what I'd be using though. Loving it for my seasonal crusader on PC. -

Jamoose posted a message on ATTENTION! Stagger gem seems to bug cheat death talentPeople lost their HC character to far "worse" reasons. Blizzard don't restore characters you should have known that when you started playing HC. So saying "fuck you bliz" now does nothing but make you look stupid. Don't play HC if you are not prepared to lose everything.Posted in: Crusader: The Church of Zakarum -

You do realize that in an interview, the three guys responsible for Diablo 1 stated that they were trying to create broader appeal for RPGs by focusing on combat and reducing what they viewed as unnecessary complexity, right?Quote from ImmoralthangEver since Craptivision bought Blizzard all of their games have been casualized and mass produced.
Saying that Diablo has been "casualized" is actually paying tribute to the original vision of the original developers and actually arguing that the current developers are keeping in-step with the general philosophy for the series that was established ~15 years ago in some dude's bedroom/garage. And I think this is precisely what Hans was talking about. Sure your opinion is valid, but it seems that you're just using that generic "I want to be angry at something so I'll lash out at people who can only play the game three hours per week" angst-y approach that just doesn't jive here.
Casuals didn't ruin the genre. The genre was build around trying to appeal to people who enjoyed RPGs but couldn't be bothered with how tedious they had become. -

The game itself was always pretty slick, challenging and engaging. But the items at launch, indefensible. A clear minimum standard was in place by precedent of Diablo 2, and this standard was certainly not even remotely met. What made this issue much worse was the AH's. Effectively rendering 99.8% of all your Legendary drops as incapable of performing as well as a common Rare item (lol @ "common rare"), easily obtainable via the AH's, complete with the ability to "shop" for every last exact desired stat line.Quote from shaggy
Yeah, I'm not a fan of BoA. I'm not into Seasons and I'm generally mum about 2.1.Quote from ruksak
I've never seen a software company try so hard over such a long period of time to improve a non-sub game. Despite constant improvements over near 2 1/2 years, many still wish to paint the game as "dead".
2.1 isn't even out yet, and here we have people already dismissing it and asking for 2.2
Cynical much?
But Diablo 3 still isn't a bad game. It's never been close to "bad" honestly.
I have a VERY hard time believing actual Diablo veterans would play around with these items in a preliminary testing phase and react in any other way than to warn Blizzard to change their approach.
EDIT to add: Itemization in 2.0 is drastically improved and acceptable over what we saw at D3V launch, and from what I've seen of 2.1, I consider the standard of expectation met. -

montanx posted a message on 1-2 hours and we have our FIRST world paragon 1000Guys, your missing the point. Its not about the feat itself, its about reaching a goal that he set his mind to accomplishing. Im sure Gabynator is not going around claiming he is the worlds greatest diablo player. He knows the feat itself is not some huge testament to skill. But he set a goal for himself and stuck to it and accomplished it, no matter how trivial the task, thats impressive. How many books or video games or tasks have you started just to abandon them halfway? Iv had tons, im bad at setting goals and meeting them. But this guy just decided one day, hey you know what, im gonna do this. It took tons of time and game effort to do this. Its an impressive feat in gaming when you do anything that a korean kid didnt do first.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
So again guys, it is impressive. Not because of the feat itself, but because of the resolve and fortitude it took to set a goal like this and stick to it til the end. -

It is funny. You can really distinguish the losers on these forums ~ those who tend to attack others at every opportunity. Funny thing is, if we had our real identities up, bet they would not have the guts to say anything. Says it all.....Quote from RoguexA
To all the haters.
Way to go and props for clan rep MMM. There'll always be haters - just let them do their thing. They can't effect you in the slightest Atleast you're getting 'hated' on instead of doing the hating. Funny that eh?
I just pity them as they must have had an awful life to have their character shaped that way. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.
