Jahpahjay, is that a 2.1 change, or was it like that previously?
It's a 2.1 change, and one I hate. Using Thunderfury was the only way I was able to reliably throw all the meteors.
On the subject of Magic Weapon: It has to do with the way Magic Weapon behaves. I believe that the only Magic Weapon rune that currently procs meteors is Ignite. All the others don't actually do damage, despite having a listed damage type: their bonus damage is simply rolled into your other skills.
It requires some kind of elemental damage proc on attack (Thunderfury, for me), Mirrorball, and Tal's 4 piece. I have a decent RoRG, so I'm currently sporting a Storm Crow in place of the helm, because the necks I have are all junk besides my Tal's.
Nearly all my attacks do all 4 elemental damage types, and the meteors proc nearly on cooldown. I'm having 0 problems solo in T4 with this build, despite my Toughness being only about 6.5 mil before Unwavering Will kicks in. I also lack a second Unity, which I really want to get before I try to push this in T6.
