And exactly how rare will those tomes be Ivaron? Rare? Rare enough that itll be level 1 by the time im 60? Because that would suck since that's about the time I start MFing around all acts. I would be annoyed to have to run all the way back to the WP just to change acts because of a 20 min cooldown. If they are not rare at all, then what's the point? People would have a high level portal at a low level, it would be like having scrolls in the first place. I suggest taking off 20 min and replacing with about 5 or less.

Anyway, some skills would probably work since the system was implemented in Diablo 1. It would just need some more limitations this time.

posted a message on Diablo III Thoughts From Ex-Blizzard Employee
We should just have an option to turn the numbers off. That pretty much solves it. But I do wish there were some videos of the Diablo III prototype... that would be awesome since I am curious on what it looked like.

posted a message on Great job "diablo fans" *others view of are game
I signed the petition and I don't regret it one bit. Why? 1/2 say no change, the other half say change. So what's Blizzard going to do? Change it of course so both sides are happy, or a least most. Who would release a game with half of the fan base discouraged? Not Blizzard that's for sure. I don't really see a point in discussing this anymore, it's been heard world wide. But, the discussion wont end (and yes I'm still here as well) until there is a presented solution. Simply "not buying it" won't do blizzard any good since they rely on most of their fans, not 1/2.

Blizzard Will change it. I'm a part of www.sc2forums.net as well, so I know what SC2 fans (like me) were complaining about. Diablo III will get a change in some way, 100% sure. Blizzard responded to our calls for SC, they will surely answer to calls in Diablo.

Nope didnt notice the Gluttony incarnate, but that's good to hear =)

Something that represents innocence lost is cool to. Perhaps something like from the excorcist (the scene where she crawls down the stairs backwards on her feet and hands). I just want to see stuff that creeps me out like Silent Hill, but Blizzard's style, haha.

posted a message on mercenary ideas
A merc in no way affected my gameplay. I did not get bored, I was constantly aware when I played, especially hardcore games. In no way was I more laid back with a merc. And yes, 1 merc is fine.

They need to look more at real life history for their monsters.

    7 Deadly sins
    Lust - Lechery = Goat = Goatmen
Gluttony - over consumption = could be the fat demons
Greed could also mean the obese demons (something else would be cool)
    Sloth - grief/sadness = ???? (could be tormented souls or a demon crying blood, I don't know)
    Wrath
    Envy
    Pride

too lazy to think of the last 3. However, rather than trying to make made up monsters like... berserker or something... they should also make some demons that represent historic things because history has gone through some pretty dramatic and evil things in the past.

Btw.,.. those demons that were invisible and popped out of no where in D1... bring those back! Those were awesome =)

posted a message on Flagship Studios Closing
Wasn't Flagship studios working with EA too? If thats so, that's prolly the reason why HGL did bad in the first place. Either way, Much older Diablo players respect the old devs and I hope they find work ASAP... They really deserve more credit than most of the people here are giving them.

And SSJ5Broly makes a point. People brand names that are more familiar to them and their surroundings. Common sense actually.

Yeah I found plenty! It's actually quite funny too because people see your barb humping cows (that's what the animation looks like) and out comes a unique. ^^ I lost my barb who i've had since 1.09, (forgot the password to my account) So I'm making a new one.

The skill Find Item uses MF as well. You just follow the strong players using the skill on everything dead. Works best on cow levels. You've never seen a barb use find item? Yeah its a rare build since people like to kill stuff, but it works fine.

Having multiple chars, that's the way I like it. I have a barb who specializes in find item skill. He can't kill a thing, but has has so much MF, all I have to do is rawr on dead cows or hero monsters while I leech exp, and that's a process im proud of :)

posted a message on Art how everyone is wrong.
You need to let people complain, that's how the game progresses. Blizzard will look at those complaints and choose which ones are worth listening to. You will NEVER have a well built game unless people complain about things and you listen to what they have to say.

I understand you, but I think what you're really saying is... People need to stop complaining in a childish manner. Right?
