    Nice Starliath!

I think you forgot to add the ring (soj) for where you need % physical damage!?!

You didn't mention ''ressource cost reduction'' for paragon skill point in utility!

I might read it again later, I just woke up :P

I hope for you, and all ww lovers, that the ww skill get a buff in patch 2.1!

    Nicely done!

Everything that MantisXT said. Also, put CHD on your amulet instead of CDR and put CDR on your Darklight instead of % damage. No matter what you do, if you're not close to perma Akarat, you'll have a hard time in higher torment.

Use these passives skills if you have survability issues (i'm also using them) : Wrathful, Vigilant, fervor and divine fortress (because of you shield having a low block chance you might want to switch to finery or indestructible instead of divine fortress).

If you can have up to 100k health globe bonuses on your gear that would help too!

Skillwise, you have no skill to reduce damage or to ground control. Here's the build I use at the moment :http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/crusader#kYXQdV!ZebV!ZbZaYb

In fact I'm using provoke and shield glare. As you probably know, in group play you do not always decide with who you play and what class they play. I personally don't care about if there's a monk or not in the group. It also means I don't care much about efficiency even if I try really hard to make this build as efficient as possible (paragon lvl helps so much!). But right now I didn't try the shotgun build because I never found the weapon for it. Provoke isn't better than shield glare! In groupe play there is 2 problems you may see. First, monster are dieing fast making shield glare not as usefull. Secondly, if the group isn't optimal, you'll be able to spam FOH but you'll be out of ressource pretty quickly... even with cindercoat. Either way, provoke and shield glare are both usefull in group play. That's my own exprience. Solo play is different.

Concerning harrington, I use it because it boost survability and damage even if it's situational. That's why I don't like witching hour, it reduce survability way to much! The fact is that Harrington, compare to witching hour, is the only belt to have %life (and AR as you would probably have Str, vit, attack speed and CHD on your Witching hour)... it's also the only piece (beside maybe the shield if you use defender of westmarch) to have %life. On a side note, witching hour and The Final Witness aren't the best combo for survability. There's nothing wrong about using them! It depends of your playstyle, if you're playing in group or solo and what paragon lvl you are. Magefist might be a good choice for solo play, not sure about group play though as cindercoat is too usefull to spam FOH... make sure to have fire damage, CC, CHD, CDR, and STR if you decide to use Magefist (attack speed is useless here).

He doesn't have CDR on his Darklight... that explain why he use captain set over cindercoat or whatever else he would like to use.

He also has CDR on his amulet instead of % fire damage, because of that he has CHD instead of CDR on the soj (I think it's on the soj).

    Hi there! Nice video!

Overall I have to agree with prety much everything about what you said. Except maybe about one thing. I think that this build is viable in group play. Most people think that you need to play the most OP build to play the game. The fact is this build kills white mobs quite fast and elites pack after a couple of cast when the proc of firestarter kicks in!

And in group play you gonna have to like provoke :P Otherwise you will be out of ressource all the time and agasint boss you'll be useless!

Pro tips, use ''space bar'' for standing still instead of ''shift''. It's much more usefull at that location in my opinion and help to speed kill trash mobs, even in a group.

The problem here is that the default block chance of your shield is low. Lower is the block chance, less is the stat usefull. If your shield had 30% block chance, I would had say don't touch the block chance bonus on the shield. There is no clear answer to your question, simply because a good defensive shield for T6 has around 30% block chance. At least for a firebuild playing in group. Also if you choose to enchant the stat (block chance), divine fortress will be useless. Now what I say? Well, if you want to play T6, you might have survability issue. You have 25k healh globe bonuses... at 50k it start to get better to replinishing life with Wrathfull. For the shield you got the same stats as mine except that the default block chance is lower... keep it like it is or trade % life for - elite damage. If you can, do reapears wrap with those stats : fire, str, vit, CC.

For end game stats, I posted them in my third post on this topic!

I'm using these passive skills: Divine fortress, Vigilant, Wrathful and fervor. Wrathfull and fervor are mandotory for this builld... divine fortress give me 30% more armor (block chance of my shield) and vigilant reduce non physical damage by 20% (elemental damage from elites hurts).

And no, I would not trade any of these passive for Hold your ground. That's from a player (me) playing T6 in group that want to stay alive. If you decide to choose Hold your ground, trade Divine fortress for it.

    Hope it helps!

I have a question for you, are you playing alone or in group? I have more life and armor and sometimes some nasty elites pack can be challenging. So if you enchant vit and ends up with 320k life, I will say good luck in T6. It wont necessary be impossible, but you're just gonna die a couple of time per rift. And if you're in a group and you can't tank much, you won't be as usefull and effective considering you're using darklight (can't tank = not close to monster which doesn't use the full potential of the second FOH done with the proc of the weapon).

And if you end up being much more far away, then use Lidless instead.

My personal goal, or something I would like to test, is having reduce elites damage affix on my armor and my shield. Thats would be 20-22% reduced elites damage.Concerning end-game stats :Around 500k life and 800AR... I would say at least 20k armor (more if paragon lvl 600 and using Divine Fortress--- around 25k if so)... at least 100k health globe bonuses or more.

It's a hard one to answer, but what I can say is that the block chance of my shield synergize with the passive skill Divine fortress. Because of that I would tend to say that I prefer to keep the block chance!

If you would have to chose between AR or - elite damage on your shield, take - elite damage. It's much more effective for damage mitigation considering that most dangerous elemental damage comes from elites packs.

    Hi cdb_grep!

    Here's my build :http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/MrTeK-1365/hero/43679695

I personnaly use Defender of Westmarch but I mostly play in 4 players games. The reasons why I use Defender os Wesmarch are because I like to be close to monsters, the proc of darklight is usefull if you're close to monsters and in 4 players games you won't be as effective at killing speed. That's why being close is good! It's also why I changed some skill and passive skills to reflect my playstyle while being quite effective. By the way I solo T6.

You also want to have a lot of health globe bonuses because it synergize well with the passive Wrathfull. You also gonna have to change your amulet, even a well rolled yellow one would be better! Btw if you have any question, let me know! GL!

From my own experience, in group play it's way better to use cindercoat. OP, oviously with your current set up you pretty much solo.

    Here's my set up :http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/MrTeK-1365/hero/43679695

With that set up, you can tank and do enough damage in group play. For your information I have 100k health globe bonuses on my gear wich synergies really well with Wrathfull! Also, as you can see I prefer Defender of Westmarch over Lidless in group play! Right now, there are 2 pieces I would like to change statswise : the cindercoat with 3 socket and vit instead of armor and the pants with AR instead of armor... and same rings with better stats and health globe bonuses as secondary stats.

I also think BoE is a good thing!

The economy in DII is just broken.
The drop rate is low (patch 1.13 is gonna help i guess), the ladder make us to restart so there's only dupe to help us to have what we want.
I 'm not saying that I dupe because i'm not, i'm just saying that witout dupe we wouldn't have a haft of what we have.

Anyway if we keep the same drope rate in Diablo 3 it should be better for one reason (even without dupe), we're gonna have our own drop... what you see is yours.
How many time you didn't jump enought fast on an item?
At least this way if you play a lot you're gonna have much more chances to get what you want wihout having someone else to jump on a good drop before you.

And if the economy is better i'm gonna be happy!

I voted for individual loots cause it's frustating to get anything especially when you're not paying much.
I played a lot though even if i didn't get much when playing with others...
And since I do not like to do mf alone it is a good way to have individual loots so it'll be fun to do boss runs knowing that we will get our loots!!!
