posted a message on Highest level in D3?
I like how D2's leveling was set up. You didn't need to take it all the way to 99 in order to be competitive and successful and most people didn't bother with going all the way to 99.

In fact, it's the fact that there's always another level to achieve that keeps me coming back for more. I think D3 should keep the same formula. It was something special to see a character at 99, as opposed to other games where EVERYONE was at level cap with multiple characters.

    posted a message on Hell?
For Diablo games it should remain fiery. It can really go any direction in other games, but the Diablo series is already established with a fiery hell.

Myself being a believer in heaven and hell, see hell more as the dark abyss type. I mean, I've always considered hell to be the absolute absence of God, who is love, light, warmth, etc. Imagine being trapped in a complete void, with nothing but your bad thoughts (because all the thoughts of love, happiness, etc cannot enter hell) and you'll kinda have the idea of what I see hell as.

posted a message on Prequel or Sequel?
    I think sequal.

In Act 2, Cain mentions how Tyreal went against the consensus in Heaven to help the Horadrim by given them the soul stones. Even Cain is unsure as to why Tyreal did this, while the rest of Heaven did not interfere.

When the World Stone was corrupted, Tyreal destroyed it. This will make a huge impact to the world of Santuary.

Sometimes I wonder if Tyreal has some hidden agenda and is acting on his own accord. Were the Prime Eveils, especially Baal, just unwitting pawns in his overall plot to destroy the World Stone so that he could exact an even more sinister plot after it's destruction? Will Tyreal become the next Prime Evil?

    Just thoughts, hehe.

I only meditate if I get low an mana. :P

Seriously, though, I do meditate. Both for martial arts and to induce lucid dreams. The meditation to induce lucid dreams is about the most awesome experience you'll ever have by yourself. You pretty much shut your body down, putting it to sleep, while keeping your mind awake. The goal is to be completely aware while you are dreaming, which can go in so many ways... you can take control of your dreams, or simply let them play out or whatever. It's totally amazing, though, because it's so real.

There's nothing quite like shutting your body down on a quite afternoon, slipping into a dream and spending a good half hour just casually flying around wherever you fee like, hehe.

Mmm, I dont think their next MMO will be a Diablo game, for several reasons :
    - Diablo is and should stay an Hack&Slash (well, in my opinion, but i'm pretty sure all Diablo 2 fan's will agree with me on this :p) : a fast game where you kill a multitude of monsters with only one spell/ability. A Diablo MMO, with a gameplay similar to WoW, simply will not do (raiding a "act boss"? Having trouble killing 4 mobs at the same time?)
    - Diablo is, like Warcraft, a medieval-fantasy game. Having another similar genre coming out, while having Warhammer and AoC on the horizon, would seems pretty strange. (But still possible, i agree)
    - As you say, the lore behind Diablo is not deep enough to make a MMO based on this. (But a Diablo 3 acting like a prequel would do the job well)

I agree. I really hope they never turn Diablo into an MMO thing. It needs to stay hack 'n slash, killing 20-30 monsters at a time. I don't want some cheesy raids structure that makes playing the game a freakin' job like WoW has (nothing worse than having to plan your gaming time a week in advance >.<)

I'm more persuaded of a Starcraft MMO : the lore is already there (if you have see the Starcraft 2 blizzcon storymode video, they already have implanted some RPG elements in the game, like an encyclopaedia of the planets, including theirs ecosystems etc...), the genre would fit perfectly with WoW (a fantasy game and a "science-fiction" game, so no possible concurrency).

I just can't wait to see a game that mix some RPG/RTS/FPS elements (class with different archetypes -marines, ghost, firebat, reapers, heavy capital ship commander for the terrans, zealots, templar... for the protoss- different talent/skill tree, possibility to drive/pilot air/space/terrestrial vehicles -vulture, wraith or even battlecruiser-, a lot of weapons, possibility to jump from a planet to another (or a galaxy to another :p), possibility to call for an airstrike (as in Starcraft ghost), to attack a planet with a fleet of battlecruisers etc...
Just imagine the best of Planetside, the best of Eve, with the Starcraft lore and the "seal of quality" of Blizzard :D . That would be awesome ! :)

I can see Blizz doing a Starcraft MMO, but I doubt that would have anything to do with Diablo3.com having a countdown to May 1st. If it does turn out to be some Starcraft news, I'm gonna be kinda pissed, 'cause I'm really pumped up for some Diablo news!
