Wakeman posted a message on New fetishes model!Posted in: Witch Doctor: The Mbwiru EikuraThe latest PTR patch notes mentioned FS now due damage according to the highest element of the WD, which is what a lot of us had been asking for for a long time! Great that Blizz finally listened to that suggestion!
However, there is also a little surprise that was not mentioned in the patch notes: they also changed the model of the fetishes (both FS and FA) for different elements!

Really nice little bonus to pet doctors! Thanks Blizzard! =D -

Septic Tank posted a message on Blizzard will lose their most experienced players and support base. You seem to be channeling Furor. Sadly (for you), "more experienced" does not translate to "best customer". Yes, you might be very loyal, put in tremendous play hours, and buy everything Blizzard puts out, but that in fact makes you part of a relatively small minority.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
While I can appreciate you feeling alienated and frustrated by defects in the game (I feel them, too), the prospect of you and people like you (like me!) taking a break from the game (they know you'll be back, anyway) isn't terribly threatening to their business. And if you can't vent your frustration constructively, they're more inclined to just tell you to take a break from the forums and/or game.
The top few % of any given game's playerbase are almost assuredly going to be more vocal and displeased with things like endgame content, build diversity, and class balance. Meanwhile the average player (read: majority of their customers) are still trying to get Kadala to cough up set pieces to complete that 6-piece bonus, or farm their first RoRG, or survive T6, or get past GR20. Their heart races the first time they (finally!) get a goblin to spawn a portal, or get their first Thunderfury, or even see any legendary beam, period.
This is also why you will see content released from time-to-time that just makes you shake your head, like getting transmog or ink changes when there are MASSIVE SKILL/CLASS/SET BALANCE ISSUES. Why? Because you aren't the only person that plays this game, the way you play this game isn't the only way this game is played, and in fact most people play it differently than you or I do. So while I too wish they would "fix all the things" -- especially the ones that are really annoying to me -- a little perspective might help you realize we are not always their priority. And that sucks, but that's business. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

I personally don't understand why people have to lay claim to particular builds or play styles when I'm guessing thousands of people discover them for themselves every day. Like, I discovered Leapquake for myself back when I got the pieces in early RoS, I didn't have to watch a video, it just made sense. Just because someone made something public for the first time doesn't make you the owner.
Like Mad_Tom said, both videos had their part to play, and both brought up different points and served different purposes. One was for pushing limits, the other for theorycrafting/proof of concept. I personally subscribe/follow many different Diablo players because I enjoy different perspectives and different styles and sometimes just the person.
So please, let's keep the forums as a place for discussion and learning and fun, because this is a game that we all play and most of us enjoy. You can't measure dicks on the internet, so do that on your own time.
Good video, Mr. Mikhail.
