What will drive the economy?
Will it be like in D2 where it was ran by items such as SOJs and than with RUNES. Trading economy.
Or will they make the switch to gold as the main source and auction houses?

Would they let Diablo3.com have the new d2 patch be the first place to have the patch downloaded from? I can see why that would bring some people over. Spice it up with some images/banner and you get more people. Hint at diablo 3 inside the patch and you get more people coming over.
