Well if you want to cheat and use Google... ;)

Seriously though, his options 1 and 2 were what I was thinking about, the others are really good though :)

Try looking at the USB port in the Device Manager and make sure that on every USB port you turn off the option to sleep the port for power saving. I forget the exact name of the option and I'm not at my computer right now, but if you can't find it I'll try to look further.

Yeah, Augment Ancient gear gives main stat always, even on weapons and helms. So you want to go for Intellect.

    Quote from NOCFeRnA1»

Item rerolled via Cube cant be ancient or primal (so it is said in the recipy).

You're getting mixed up I think. If you use the Reroll SET item option then it can't be Ancient.

However, if you use the Reforge Legendary option then it can be. I believe this is the option that is being talked about.

But aside from this, I'd recommend just playing. It's unlikely that is the best weapon for you, so just play and better will drop.

And yes, to push you'll want a good weapon with good stats, rolled Ancient, and you'll want a Ramalandis Gift to put a Socket in (this is far better than simply getting the weapon to drop with a Socket or using the Enchantress because it means you have a whole extra stat on your weapon) , and the best Green gem you can get :)

And finally, other than Reroll in the entire item, the only way to change single stats is via the Enchantress. The only way to get a 'perfect' item is to grind, and get lucky eventually, with the ability to Reroll one stat.

posted a message on So much focus on item/skills used...why not so much when you use them

Order of skill use is also essential for the Lightning Archon Wizard (Tal6/Vyr4) in that you have to make sure to get your 4 stack bonus up before you pop Archon or you lose incredible burst.

posted a message on Material farming question.

It depends a little bit in your gear level and therefore what you can easily farm.

On my seasonal Wizard I'm easily killing T13 Rifts so I waltz through a bunch of them to build up my Grift keys, at around 3-5 minutes per run, including a set of Nemesis bracers, which spawn extra elites and therefore extra deaths breaths.

Doing that will also net you a bunch of yellows and therefore crystals, but I think I get more from Kadala while I'm spamming GR60s to increase Legendary gem levels for Augments. Burning through Blood shards to look for upgrades will net you 36-40 yellows per 1000 shards maybe? And I think at GR60 it's 250-300 per run, so you get a lot.

    Quote from dezien»

Tgey dont give bonzses, you get betger legendary effect rolls tho. :P But no, it doesnt make any sense. We have a set that ia directly tied to item rarity, if blizz had any balls they would have added some small bomuses on primal equip for lon.

The thing is, they tried to make them better, and people didn't want that (and rightly so, would make leaderboards dependant on really rare and random things.... primal weapon? Bad luck, no high rifts for you)... For exactly that reason, buffing LoN would also be horrible

posted a message on I got banned for botting when I never botted!!!
    Quote from Glowpipe»

    Quote from Dionysus1300»

... sounds just like steroid using athletes ... I never used a cheat program, and if I did, I don't know how it got on my computer ...

As much as i hate hackers and cheaters myself. I do know for a fact that you get false positives from time to time and everytime someone post it on the forum everyone jumps straight on the "you are a filthy lier" bandwagon. And do you know how frustrating that is ?
I even know of a person who got his ban revoked from steams vac. And that is not something you see often. Hardly ever.
I do also talk from experience. I logged in for a raid in wow once. I was shocked to see that i had been banned. Since i have never used anything or done anything that warrants a ban. (wheter you believe me or not is up to you. I know the answer) It said in the ban mail that i had been exploiting the economy. I asked on the mmo-champion forum what the hell was going on since i seriously did not know. I told them everything. Yet, i got the there is something you are not telling us and you botted and got caught and the usual crap. There was one person who simply to call blizzard, so i did.
After 20 min my account was unbanned. It was their automatic ban system that had banned me. He said that it caught something fishy in the mailbox ingame. And that was about 100-150 stacks of herbs i got while leveling herbalism on my alt dk. Those herbs i sent to my other alt which had inscription. Thats all i did. Nothing illegal, no programs used. Nothing. I was wrongfully banned and my account was restored with an appology from the blizzard rep i talked to. Yet. Not one person on the forum believed me. Everyone accused me of being a filthy liar and a cheater.
You also need to keep in mind that most people who cheat and bot willingly. They know why they are banned and are not making a big fuss out of it. Some, sure. But many just cope with their loss and start cheating on a new account.
So next time someone say they didn't do it. Don't instantly judge them. They may actualy speak the truth. Or they may just be stupid and thing that complaining on a random forum will get them unbanned.
Some false positives means that, empirically, most people who have been banned deserved it. That is why they are treated that way. But at the end of the day, it's really irrelevant, as you say at the end. If he's innocent he needs to deal with it with Blizzard. If he isn't, he needs to get over it and learn a lesson. Neither one is furthered by posting here.
