posted a message on Best way to power level friend?
I was going to suggest Halls Level 3 in Act 1, but it turns out the density is pretty low unless you are on Adventure mode. It probably makes sense to see if she can upgrade to RoS - you do a quick Mal kill with one of your toons with her and then level to 60 in bounties.

Once she hits 60 - you both switch to story mode and walk through Act5 taking it all in.

Outside of that just do T6 questing - probably Act3 is best spot for best density.

posted a message on Achievements: why bother?
I always kind of view achievements (in any game) as a way to encourage players to explore the game in ways that they may not be otherwise interested in doing. This missing interest could be lack of information (they simply don't know about it) or just help players get out of an efficiency cycle/spiral.

One could argue that in a game like Diablo, why not just run the first quest over and over? You have the same chance at loot basically... The game is fun when a certain level of game-play diversity is presented and some level of opportunity to progress your character. Once the character progression levels out, the next way to keep interest is game-play diversity...

posted a message on We need an option to resume adventure games
Local saved state is a good idea, however I think probably too ripe for abuse in some fashion. As far as I can tell there are only three ways to close out of a game. Leave Game, Exit Diablo and a disconnect. Two of these methods involves clicking something in game that is registered on the server side. How about when you leave a game the server looks for the "Leave Game" or "Exit Diablo" event. If that event is missing, then keep the game open for 60-90 seconds to allow players back in to resume...

posted a message on Do you mostly play solo or in a group?
Prefer group play when I can (clan, community or friends) but often play solo when I only have a few minutes to play or no groups are forming.

posted a message on Farm or craft?
Crafting is a good way to get started, especially if you don't have the play time to allow RNG to work it's magic. Kadala also offers decent chance at gear while letting you target the item type.

Many of the crafted legendary items are better than rares (ok/decnet), but not great or best in slot.

    Hope that helps :)

posted a message on Wizard rifting community - WizRifters US
Just wanted to drop a line to say that I created WizRifters US community to allow wizards to join in rifts together. The idea is to find other people to rift with and to share loot with. Group of 4 wizards has a good chance of a drop being useful to someone in the group.

The group is currently open invite - so anyone can join.
