posted a message on Nephalim Glory/Bringing the Rain build
I have been doing experimentation with Nephalim Glory and have found it to actually be very useful and builds around it are very fun and rewarding, in solo play it delivers more mobility and damage while in multiplayer it gets better and better. Reading up about these yellow orbs of death I have found a few things, that 3 stacks you will see a 10 or 15% increase in damage, the extra damage then cleaves outwards and can create explosions all dealing holy damage. Everything can crit.

    To break it down

+15% gain in damage, caked into your attacks

Arcing damage which is the 15% you gained but spread to all the near by targets now, range is actually far.

Chance to deal an explosion of holy damage that appears to be a 30% weapon proc.

Single Target this means that you are gaining 15 - 75% more damage potential because the lightning arc does proc on single target much like how Smite Shatter works single target.

Also note this procs off every form of damage you deal which brings me to the build.

Slash w/Zeal (Mainly I choose this because it is fun for me and it is holy damage)

Fist of the Heavens w/Divine Well

    Condemn w/Unleashed

    Heaven's Fury w/Blessed Ground

    Laws of Valor w/Answered Prayer

    Akarat's Champion w/Rally

    Heavenly Strength, Righteousness, Wrathful, Finery

The idea behind this when I first tested it pre FotH buff was that divine well would proc extra sources of NG damage and better chance to generate Orbs which is has done very well. Currently the build is all holy damage and right now I am rocking as many +Holy% pieces I can find. Helm, bracers (Reaper's Wraps), Hallowed Barricade. Right now even though not optimal Paragon Level and set gear I can currently hold my own in T5. In terms of weapon I am using Blade of Prophecy for the extra Condemn damage and that in of itself is very good.

The idea is to gain as many extra sources of damage possible to continue to proc NG damage, Heaven's Fury with Blessed Ground is 2 sources that is nearly always up and provides very good excess damage along side FotH. Pretty much you are a walking orbital strike cannon and you carpet bomb with Condemn.

What I would like to see is get a Blade of Prophecy that rolls a socket and str so I can reroll the type damage to holy so I can use Holy Cause. With Reaper's Wraps the need for Righteousness becomes less apparent and obviously more Paragon Levels will negate Righteousness on its own allowing for dual survivability via Wrathful and Holy Cause. From what I have seen Holy Cause of course only works with Holy Weapons but grants it 10% more top end, basically think you are adding a Red Gem to the weapon thus more top end damage.

    Gem Build

-Most want to take Resist All gems, the Diamond in the helm and Crit Hit gem in the weapon. Currently I am using all Str gems and part of me would like to try a Red gem in the weapon to see if getting more top end would work with me in the long run. Either way if not I can always go back to green weapon gem. But the idea of a Blade of Prophecy that rolls good damage, str and socket going to get 10% from Holy Cause and a Red gem to back it up is very appealing.

    Last thoughts

Sorry if the post is cluttered this is more so an ongoing test that gets more successful with every bit of gear that works with the build, I currently am 1 of 6 Akarats (story of our lives right?) with a few +holy pieces. It is my hope once I get enough Paragon levels to get the extra statistics I need and the weapon I need w/Akarat's to actually see NG truly shine. I think people underrated those globes a lot however they did not exaggerate with Nephalim Majesty which is a waste.

What I think needs to be done is the following.

Answered Prayer needs to have a 100% chance.

Nephalim Majesty needs to bolsteWhen I get more gear and better tests and Paragon Levels I will post a video and a more structured post with my findings. Currently right now the build is doing what it is supposed to do.r the effects of the globes rather then extend duration. Perhaps picking up a globe can restore Wrath or act as a Health Globe, perhaps it can double the benefits for you personally. Just anything but what it does now.

On an unrelated note, Heavenly Strength needs to be baseline. The fact we are forced to take it really sucks. I have tried One Handed builds, just a two handed weapon to prove points to my friends and it is very obvious we are stuck having to use Heavenly Strength. Our passives should be a choice not a mandatory. (Sorry for the digression but it had to be said)
