    My profile for WD:

    http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Jester-1386/hero/40407144

I've been trying very hard to find the Jade pieces but so far I only got the pants and gloves. I just got the helm for the Jade set, but so far as I understand the current helm I have (Quetzalcoatl) is considered the BiS for this build. Can I get away with the set piece helm or is that piece worthless?

Also in terms of the build once I have the full set, what do people mostly run? I want to keep my zombie dogs because of the damage mitigation from my mojo + life link, (all builds use pirahnas, haunt, locust swarm and spirit walk and soul harvest, so the only negotiable skill is zombie dogs). Is that viable or better to use horrify in higher torments (with my current gear I can comfortably do T4)

I guess I'll store them in a dark corner of my stash, never to see the light of day until blizz decides to buff it (which will only happen if blizz decides to nerf the other popular WD builds I'm sure)

I mean with grave injustice and the 2 sec cool down on zombie wall from the set, + a little CD from gear and paragon the CD of zombie wall shouldn't really be an issue. The bigger question is, is the damage output viable in T6 and does it compete with pet doc/jade doc/ other t6 builds? I'm asking because I don't main WD so most of this is new to me.

So I accidentally ended up with 4 piece helltooth set piece (when I was actively farming Jade instead... figures). The pieces had pretty decent rolls, I was wondering if there were any T5 T6 viable builds that used this set, just out of curiosity.

I'll gamble for tasker and theo and hope one drops for me but given how rare it is, I'll assume for the time being I'll go without and have to make do with a magefist. Which brings into question:

    - Is it better to have some +fire affixes or just go balls to the wall +physical? My fetishes do most of my damage but come elite packs, my fire gargantuan (IF he ever lands his hits instead of staring at things like a moron) crits for anywhere from 30-50 mil on elites, and I have seen him crit over 80 mil in an AoE on trash mobs. Hence, worth keeping the magefists until I get TnT? Or replace with something else?

I do use pirnado quite often but giving up the bracers means giving up the 3 piece or giving up a ring slot for RROG (i don't have an int RROG and even if I did there seems to be better ring options for WD than most)...

As per the 1H weapon, I see a lot of guys use a thunderfury until they find the starmetal kukri or rhen'ho flayer. Does it matter really so long as it has high 1H weapon damage?

So, I have been able to go shockingly far with horrible gear (minus mask of jerem with 87% bonus damage). All I have is that, 3 piece aughild's and random common legendaries (I don't even have 5 sockets in my chest and pants yet!) despite all this I have absolutely no issues in T3. I would like to make this a T6 viable pet doc. What are some of the gear I need to push me over the hump?

So wait, I should ditch diamonds for the AR and put in what +vit? Emeralds? With the new crafting system it's going to be a LOT easier to craft things with secondary bonuses that we want

Please read below before checking my profile and being horrified, I'm fully aware this gear setup makes no sense, but you can kind of get the idea what I'm trying to do:

    http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Jester-1386/hero/40407140

So, I was extremely excited when I finally acquired 4/6 raiment of a thousand storms set. I was previously using a speed rush farming monk and generally farming normal bounties, T1 or T2 rifts at most until I get better gear. The lightning monk was my ticket for T3+, maybe even T6, and this set was gonna be my ticket (esp with the buff blizz promised in 2.1). I was trying to stack lightning resist on all gear, and if not that then at least all res depending on how things rolled.

I got excited and decided to test this build out in T3, using crappy gems (because I'm poor...) and knowing full well that I am missing key pieces of the gear (appropriate ammy bracers and gloves, for starters. I also have a SoJ that rolled cold, so I'm waiting on that to find resources to roll lightning). I had over 1200 all res, just under 500k dps. I figured I'm not going to be efficient by any means but I'll have a taste. And it tasted horrible... here's my list of problems:

    1. Survivability. I thought with all the stuns and All Res and epiphiny/desert shroud, this was going to be my strength. Not the case, I take an incredibly amount of damage, 1200 all res be damned (granted I'm only using 5 marquis diamonds, I guess if I used 5 max quality diamonds my all res would be around 1400-1500). My vitality isn't exactly low either so I don't know how I'm going to fix this.

    2. What to reroll. My boots has EP which I have no plans of using, but it also rolled cold res which I am not stacking. I don't know if I should roll inc EP damage to inc vitality or inc some other skill, or roll cold to lightning res. Same for my shoulders. Of course Ideally I'd get another set shoulders and boots with better rolls but I doubt that happens anytime soon...

    3. DPS, the problem here is very low cc, which again I don't have an answer for. I'm sitting at 25% (if I max out cc in paragon it'll be 28), I can get 5-6% more on my helm and 5-6% on my RROG, that still puts me at 38%. How do I get to 50%? And outside of the cc problem, how else would I improve my DPS?

    4. Rounding out my gear. My plan was chest pants boots shoulders gloves are set items, belt thundergod's vigor, helm eye of the storm (GNK people argue is better but I don't have one), bracers strongarm. R1 RROG R2 SoJ ammy = something that has dex cc cd and lightning %. Weapon 1 and 2 = Odyn's son and Thunderfury. Is this a solid plan or am I better off doing something else?

Thank you for reading through my long thread and I would REALLY appreciate any input. I worked pretty hard to get this set and it would suck if none of this gear is useful...

posted a message on Non EQ Barb T3+?
I have a fire barb right now, transitioning from T2 into T3 (struggling a lot with my toughness to be T3 viable). Here's my profile:

    http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Jester-1386/hero/41725194

I mostly see might of the earth + lut socks barbs that go on to do T6, I was wondering if Raekor's set would be viable, or another fire barb variant. Moreover, I'm not exactly sure what I can change to make my transition to T3, any ideas?

    So if I get:

    Shoulders: Aughild's

Chest: Aughild's (I literally burned like 4k shards for cindercoat never got one, only found 1 for crusader in a total of like 300 hours of gameplay)

Helm: Keep as is until I get andy's

    Bracers: Got crit already

    Pants: Uhhh... Cain's? Ashera's? Captain's?

    Boots: See above

    Ring: RROG

    Will this work better?

I can do T3 solo in about 12-13 mins with no deaths, it just feels very very clunky. Here's my profile:

    http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Jester-1386/hero/40407143

I'm pretty happy with how my mirrorball, axe of sankis (although the dps could be a little higher) and magefist rolled, rest of my gear is crappy. I have all the plans for all the sets but I don't know which to craft. I'll list my problems and hopefully you guys can help out:

    1. CD on archon is looooong, I don't have a single piece of vyr's yet. I can theoritically get captains + born's to reduce the CD but I think that will sacrifice a lot of DPS.

    2. The gameplay feels clunky and inefficient I black hole and then magic missle all day, it takes a long time and feels boring...

    3. Not sure about which passives are ideal, I'm running dominance just because I don't know if the DPS in conflagerate is worth it.

    4. It really bugs me that I don't have a AP spender, I used to run meteor spam but I hate the delay all the runes for meteor is pretty crappy... If I had another damage spell besides MM it would make this build feel more interactive I think...

    Any feedback is appreciated.

    EDIT: My profile is here:

I don't have any of the vyr's set yet as you can see and I'm so poor from my other characters I can't even afford my third topaz yet on my armor =(. So CDR is more favorable than stacking fire damage? I could get helm/bracers aughlids (sacrifice about 20% fire from andy's) and captain's boots and belt, born's chest and shoulders, leaving me with vyr's chest, pants, boots and gloves (even though the magefist I rolled is pretty much perfect I think).

The above setup would give me about 20% extra CDR and 15% elite damage, but I sacrifice about 40% fire damage. Worth it?

    EDIT: Here's my profile: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Jester-1386/hero/40407143.
General sense, I can solo T3 efficiently, I don't know if I am ready for T4 yet though, 630k buffed dps, 10 mil toughness.

My basic problem is this: I rolled some pretty decent gear, but they all rolled about 30% total inc meteor damage... normally this is a good thing but I HATEEEEE meteor to the point where it drove me off from playing the wizard... fortunately the fire archon is an interesting new twist, I have a few questions about that.

Is it better to just stand and shoot the laser at the enemy for more dps? Because I found that I do a TON more damage if I do the melee attack, I don't know why the archon laser doesn't tick continuous damage...

Ideally gear wise I think I want these, let me know if it makes sense (and pls let me know outside of int, fire dam, and crit chance/CD when available, what other stats do i want? Vit? All res? Armor? CDR?:
Helm: Andy's visage. Chest: Vyr's. Legs: Vyr's. Boots: Vyr's. Gloves: Magefists (have). Shoulders: Aughild's (can make). Bracers: Aughilds (can make) Belt: I have the one that allows black hole to slow enemies, it seems decent, ring 1: SoJ ring 2: RORG Weapon 1: fiery axe of sankis (have) weapon 2: Mirrorball (have)

posted a message on Something besides fire/lightning barb
Hmm ok, I only have the raekor's legs and might of the earth gloves, I didn't play my barb much so I don't have more pieces =(. I do think the physical skills is where some of the most effective barb skills lie, like leap, bull rush, ground stomp and avalanche/lahar. Anyone know if that build is viable in higher torments, like T4+?

Also, what about artic barb, any cool builds for that?
