::sigh:: Does anybody on this forum discuss anything? Or does everybody just attack people's post because they don't agree with them?

Obviously I wasn't a big fan of the first SC. I did like the storyline and the CG. And it was fun for a little while.

I'm not saying SC2 is gonna suck. I'm saying it's gonna suck for me. FOR ME.

And I was explaining why it would suck for me. Instead of just posting 'It sucks and they should never of announced it'. I'm actually glad Blizzard announced a game that can pay for the frickin' awesomness of D3.

So get off my back.

It would actually interest me more if they, say, took a different part of the universe with different species and used them. And then on bnet you could PvP the new species and units with the previous ones... I would keep going but I think you get the idea.

That's the reason why I don't like these types of games. You don't draw an attachment to the people you are actually using in battle. You find attachments with their race or the characters in the videos. Instead of a person (or alien) in front of you.

So what is a few more units? (to me) It won't change the gameplay. Just the strategies you used in SC will now have change to include Phase Prisms and Warpgates.

I also tend to break games down to what I consider is their basic form. SC is chess. Diablo is rolling dice to see who hits who for what amount of damage. Chess requires more skill, but less character involvement. Rolling dice requires more filling in with your imagination.

But like I said. This isn't my kind of game.

I was expecting, but sorely dissapointed, when they announced SC2... I dunno, I'm just not into that sort of game...

Another concern is will it just be the same game and units, just in better graphics? I'm sure they'll do something decent with the storyline. But I dunno...

I have hopes for a good game that I'll like but I have this feeling that, like a book, I'll buy it, beat it, and then set it down...

I am excited for all you SC2 people though. At least you got what you wanted.

Oh well looks like I can go to sleep now... good thing I didn't have to stay up too late... ::sigh/yawn::

lol, it would be really bizare if Blizzard announce something completely off the wall like a movie, or a television show based off one of their games.... ROFL

You know what... it's only in the Korean WWI page background... not the Korean Blizzard site....

I only post it because people are still probably wondering if somethings going to pop out of the background...
I was just showing that it isn't anything new. That they just borrowed the image from the Korean sites background.
