OMG..:O.. seriously they already stopped the Griefers with the adding of a Constent to Duel system, both have to agree to duel, so no more pking, no more mass killing, no more Crying that some kid got owned by jumps.... he consented to duel, its done w/ now. Griefers can stop crying BM XD. Blizzard knew how to stop it, and it was more simple than many of our ideas.
Nothing needs to change as long as they keep the town setup the same, with a town exit acting as duel/safe start, the use of mana pots is only a problem w/ the sorceress's Mana Shield but if you know how to duel that should not be a problem, secondly, people are able to easily avoid getting pked if they are even partially competent and go to town.... only people who are sore loosers/ bad duelers will say that there were flaws with the D2 Expansion Dueling System. It allows for quick and fun duels, without a long heal or other problems. Gold stealing wasnt really a problem, if you won, you got gold to repair with, if you lost, the other person gets to repair/stock on manas.
I'm going to have to go with Exploding palm, seven-sided strike looks cool but after a while it would get really repetitive and boring it seems. And what is wrong with a massive explosion of flesh and bone scattering the ground as the Monk strolls away casually.:evil:
If Diablo III was a car... it would have to be the D3 GT... the car(game) is so profound, so legendary, it would overwhelm any other car maker. So therefore Blizzard would have to get a new design/production team to start OWNING the Automotive Industry(this coming from a Ford supporter). Plus just think how sick it would be if it looked like the Ford GT 500 mixed with a Ferrari mixed with a Saleen Cobra. And all that with a Custom Black/Red fade with Diablo on the hood and door panels showing the Diablo 3 Trademark. Low Profile blacks on a nice pair of chromes would help to make the car pop as well. And for the Blizzard emblem it would look like the Ferrari Shield but with the Blizzard blue Trademark(yes i have put some thought into this). This is what my idea(dream) of a Diablo III car would be. :thumbsup:

i personally have played Baldurs Gate on the PS2 its a good game/series but i dont know if there is multiplayer for the pc. as for Rev6604's suggestion, i thank you for it, but i like a more fast pased hack n' slash gamestyle.

Dont get me wrong, i am a dedicated D2 player, and a blizzard supporter, but iv been playing Diablo 2 LoD for years and im getting tired of the repetition.:confused: I am looking for a new game to play for a while, nothing fancy, my comp isnt great. something equaly to the D2 Requirements would be nice. I would like a nice storyline and online. RPG or MMO style game preff. if you can give me any ideas i would appreaciate it.:thumbsup:

I know that we have not seen much yet, but I'm hoping for a setup of an arena based dueling system. the skill tree was very simple and easy to use in D2 so i hope it will remain the same. the return of a ranger class would also be nice, but it will need a bit AOE(area of effect) attack to clear what we saw in the barb walk through. i cant wait for the next character announcement but I'm hoping that if the paladin is present there will be a similar system of auras. (offensive ex:holy shock)
The simple point and click trading would be best but if there is a chat room for it (like the channels in D2) it would make it so much easier

I think we could use a healer class, a pally healer isnt much 4 the party so id say that. also i think they might throw in a different race (ex: elves) im against a WoW & Diablo conversion but i think it would put in alot of diversity if there were specific skills for the different race.
-It would be nice if gold was actaully valuable, I like the idea of an Auction House as in WoW, it make gold much more valuable and you wont have to look around ALL day for a certain item.
-Of course new classes, and like everyone else is saying, being able to customize your character (hair, face, etc.) and choose their voice, out of a list of like 5 per char type, so the numberpad saying things dont sound so emotion dead.
-Choosing Female or Male, but only certain classes can only be one gender, etc.
-Being able to see ALL of your items as in Wow, like you can see gloves, boots, belt, etc. as compared to D2 where only armor and helms make u look different.
-Alot more quests and side quests to do, because I hate it when you finally reach lvl 99 in D2 and there is nothing to do with your power. And the fact you can easily get like 50 levels in a day kinda pisses me off.
-Of course alot more items, there is only one unique of each class of item in the game exepct jewelry. And make runes and gems much rarer.
-Im not gonna dispute over the fact of games like D2 or one big realm like WoW, but if like D2 more pplz in each game would be nice, and Bigger and More towns if possible.
-More skill trees or talents (as in WoW) or something to make your char more unique, and like some more attributes to put skill points into.
-Things to do once ur lvl 99, D2's got one Uber quest, but possibly more?
-The PvP should stay the same, but also have Arenas Like in WoW, with Teams duels and possibly wagering gold?
-Be able to randomize names like in WoW, b/c not to sound like a nerd, but I kind of think its kool when people have actual names as opposed to: adkfefdfe, XxFreezeUrBallsXx, Goatman8672, etc.
ok im not meaning ot bash ur opinion but im srry.... u say u dont want WoW in out D3 but u say (like in WoW) after each of these that I quoted.... Diablo is not meant to verge with WoW it is a different game line and should not need anything in comon with it to be good and remember Doablo was here before World of Warcraft so it dosnt need anything form it to be better....
i have one last question and that is if sick with continue its reaches to HellGate: London made by some of the makers of Diablo 2. Because i am going to be playing HellGate untill D3 comes out and it'd be cool to be in a guild in it.
Character classess I would want in D3
This is just an idea so please bear with me.
-Since the main 7 characters have been in the Worldstone they have been corrupted (or should have been, just like Tyrael). They should rise to be high ranking officials in hell, and you must fight them to win Diablo3.
This is my list, tell me what you think.
i know its an idea but ur corupt idea isnt sound because if u play the game and beat baal u'll see that tyreal is the only one who stays with the worldstone..... he makes a portal so that the player can leave to a safe place... the only thing that could happen is that after you beat hell mode and go threw the portal it can change the entire world and not just the difficulty of monsters.
but rilly tyreal is the onlyone who could have goten corupted for he was the only one in the worldstone chamber at the end.
He had some points that were okay but he never was able to back them up with real information. He just made points and stated that they were correct because he said so, but if you then did the same thing, he would try and call you one it. It was very annoying. I do my best to post only valid points. Unless I was mocking Doppel, but I think you guys knew when I was doing that.
