Simple Question. I know this is sacred ground for a lot of you, but change IS sometimes good, I would personally like it first person, for lack of multiplayer first person fantasy games on the market.
The generic idea of armor only is making me annoyed. Everything up to ear-rings down to rings, bracelets, shoes, robes, shirts, pants, socks, circlet, scarf, you name it.
Edit: Including Tatoos.
If need be, these items COULD be installed with bonuses, but I feel they should be strictly decorative, or else PKers will be dressed up ready to hibernate for the winter.
A) You can attack anybody, from monster in the wilderness to child in the city (Expect guards to run to his/her aid) and gain alignment concuringly. Perhaps exiled evil people would have to live underground, using a whole different city that good align could not get to.
That the night/day system is installed with bonus options.
The warrior defeated Diablo (Who took the body of King Leorics son) and when he defeated Diablo the soulstone dropped to the ground. Instantly the warrior knew the only way to trap Diablos soul is to use his own. That is why he thrust the Soulstone into his own head. From there is why he grew corrupt, he had a prime evil inside him. The warrior from Diablo 1 is the wanderer in Diablo 2.
The crack in Tristram was only there because Diablo was (If I'm not mistaken), as soon as he left, the gap closed.
I'm pretty sure the idea was, the world stone was protecting the mortal realm from hell (Some job it did). By corrupting it, he wouldn't only allow hell access, but actually merge the two. By destroying it he had no idea what would happen. Nobody did.
Depending on where and when Diablo 3 is set, I'd love to see Tristram. To keep something sacred. I'd also love to see old man Cain, but I think he has over used his welcome.
I think they had best keep the game to a down to earth style. I think Diablo 2 was too far out, actually going to the chaos sanctuary. Like I've said, I think there should be factions/guilds, perhaps of theives, mages, warriors, summoners, ect. ect. However, I think they should be in the citys and that the citys should be massive. Ach, I'm blabbering again. My main point - Good thinking, but I think it should be more mortal based.
Blizzard could make a unique question once a day, where only one person could collect it and get a special item. Doesn't have to be an UBER item, maybe even something that does NOTHING, but looks good on you.

Males can intimidate other males for money/info, while females can seduce the other sex for money/info.
Ditto can work visa versa.
Another difference would be body strength. Males could swing harder and take more damage, while females swing faster and dodge easier.
Also males may be able to get into gangs and do quests, while females might get into different gangs that are strictly for them.

This would add a RP feel.

Shoulder blades... she seems to be docking some wicked sweet armor under that robe
Another idea is robes could be worn by mages. Leather under, but good magic bonuses to robes.

Night would weaken;
Barbarians
Paladins
Amazon
Sorceress
And strengthen;
Assassin
Necromancer
Druid
(Amazon and Sorceress could go both ways).
