it is based on peoples OPINION'S of the particular post. Opinions are not right or wrong. If someone likes your post and gives you plus rep - then yay for you. If they do not like your post and give you neg rep - then suck it up. It's one person's OPINION on that post, that is all, just their opinion.

You can still use the Werebear form. You need the Passive Enabler Charm which you get when you transmute the starters pack with the cube.

If I remember correctly you will also need to have a skill point placed in the Shape Shifting Mastery or is it a point into Elemental to use. I will check when I get the time.

The Werebear and Elemental are almost the same skills. The only difference is the looks and elemental absorb they get.

Are you looking to kill the monsters and just have the summons as a distraction or just plan on having the summons kill and support if needed. There are a few ways you can go with the Summons. If you are only looking to have summons as a distraction than just put points into the Elemental (replaced the Grizzly) Put 20 points into that skill and you will have 2 Elementals that can tank and even kill.

If you are going to be using the summons for doing most of the killing then you want to invest all points into Energy. Energy increases the damage that summons do. You would need to click on the passive enabler and then put it back on your inventory to refresh the stats.

If you are going to be the main killer than you want to place the stats in Strength and Dexterity.

What bothers me though is the argument that occurs between Winston and O'brien. Orwell makes O'brien out to be the one who is correct when I think in fact he is not. O'brien believes so much that the Party is this homogenous organization where if you were to cut off the thumb, the rest of the organization would survive. Maybe it would to a point, but he is acting like the Party is such a hive mind, and that everyone is so identical in thought via doublespeak and conformity that they are truly some unified collective. But I think Orwell really underestimates variation among humans. And overestimates how several people within an organization may all think exactly the same.

Winston argues that the Party itself will inevitably fall apart. And it would. But O'brien says it can't possibly because supposedly everyone is essentially the same person, making it so you cannot just kill off a few and have that be a critical blow because the Party itself remains intact and unified.

The thing is, yes, of course we should be worried about what Orwell is talking about. But to the extent that he warns that it could happen, I think only in science fiction can an organization like the Party even exist an account of human variation and nuances of the human brain.

Basically summed up my position on this.

You'd never see anyone bitching about random, positive spam that they're completely undeserving of.
But as soon as somebody neg reps them, they're all up in arms about it.

And with the ultimate random thread, you've got countless positive rep that was given on a moments notice, without any forethought, just because you posted a funny picture of a cat.

No one's getting rid of anybody on the basis of negative rep. Unless people are breaking the rules (to which are now much fewer), they don't have to worry about being banned.

And I've actually noticed a lot of chronic spammers on this site have tons of positive rep. So the quality of posts (quality obviously being somewhat subjective, but we still know blatant spam when we see it, right?) and amount of negative and positive rep given are hardly correlated. The rep system is a thing to which people hardly ever praise when it's going well for them, yet complain incessantly when it's not.

So we're doing close ups now, are we?
