Phasys comes running to the group before they depart. "I'm coming too." Phasys said, struggling to catch his breath. "I will go wherever Sir Karl goes. He introduced me to the Order of the Hammer."

Phasys stood there gasping for breath to notice Lady Delana not even one bit tired. "How... did you do... that?" asked Phasys with eyes filled with horror and wonder. She can't be human... I've never seen anything like it.
Venex came running down with his wand out. The look of relief was obvious when he saw Johnny in the doorway. "I had to check that Thufir and Zubin were stable." he said. When Venex heard Phasys' question he chuckled.
"You have much to learn young one. This world is not full of daggers and swords. Much magic is present here. More than you may think." said Venex, staring at Phasys with an amused expression.
Phasys asked a question that made everyone look uncomfortable: "I barely went into the tunnels when those... monsters chased me. There are definitely more. Sitting in this house is like waiting on top of a volcano. They may come up here any minute, and I sure as hell don't want to be here when that happens." The whole group agreed, and it was time to leave the mysterious house.

When Venex came back with Lady Delana, Phasys brought them to the room where Zubin and Thufir were staying.
"They are both in a bad state. Please do what you can to make them live. You see, yesterday in the night, we were ambushed by a horde of demons. We killed them, but of course we have our... casualties." Phasys said while gesturing towards Zubin and Thufir with a pained look on his face. "Please, make sure they live. I have to go now."
Phasys went back down to the first floor and down into the trapdoor. Thufir and Zubin are safe, now I can see what these tunnels are for. Phasys made a torch out of a broken piece of wood. The light showed that the tunnels were new and undamaged. It was as if nothing had been here at all. Phasys ventured deeper into one of the tunnels. He cautiously stealthed forward when he saw a fire in the distance. There was no heat from where he was standing, so it was controlled. But what he saw next to the fire made him gasp. A group of fallens were there, with an arsenal of weapons stored on the tunnel walls. It turns out that this was a small attack force that was part of the raid on Dun Craig, but they were late. The tunnels were probably to go up into the house and easily take control of the fortifications of the house. Phasys' gasp had revealed his location, and the fallens looked up to see him. Their eyes locked for about a few seconds, when a fallen let out a large warcry. Oh shit. Phasys ran for his life, to the trapdoor.
"Help! A group of fallens are here!" Phasys yelled. He quickly moved a sofa on top of the trapdoor.
Boom! The blast shook the sofa, but it held. "Hurry, anyone, get down here, they're going to break through this trapdoor!"

Phasys went to the job of repairing and fortyfying the front door. However, it was to no avail. the bottom hinge was completely torn off from last night's attack. Phasys scanned the room and an idea occured to him. He grabbed the bookshelf that had been dropped onto the demons the night before, and pushed it behind the door. Now I need something to reinforce it... The answer was too obvious. It was a house, there was furniture everywhere. Phasys move a couch and stacked things on it. The room was now completely barren, and the job was done.
Phasys once again gave the room a good look before venturing up the stairs. Just then something caught his eye. Under a coating of dust, there was an all too obvious trapdoor, which was previously covered up by the sofa. "Thufir, Zubin, wait for me just a second!" So Phasys walked forward and lifted up the trapdoor, wondering what he would find. It was a passage, actually, several passages. It was an underground tunnel system. He could not continue into the tunnels with Thufir and Zubin in the state that they were. Phasys closed the door, made a mental note, and went upstairs to protect Thufir and Zubin.

Phasys slowly awoke, regaining their senses after a long night. I hurt all over was Phasys' first thought. He rubbed his eyes and then a horrible thought came to him. The door wasn't secured! All signs of drowsiness left him, and he ran down to see that the door was swinging around on one hinge. The signs of the battle were still there. Blood and guts were strewed along the floor and walls. Something was missing, Phasys thought. The skeleton! Phasys bounded up the stairs, tumbling along on all fours in a mix of limbs.
"The skeleton is gone!"

The situation was horrible. Zubin was screaming in pain outside, but Venex told Phasys to stay and watch Venex and Thufir. Then Johnny came up the stairs, and it was obvious that there was trouble. Venex told Johnny to stay. Phasys bolted out of the room, and sailed out of the front window onto the shaman's back.
"Ahahaha!" Phasys yelled. He then took out a dagger, and viciously stabbed the Shaman's exposed neck.
As the shaman fell to the floor, Phasys could not help but smile to himself. He picked Zubin up and carried him into the house. Phasys dropped Zubin into bed to rest. Then he fell out of exhaustion too. Venex and Thufir both slept, as their bodies demanded more energy to heal after the long night.

Phasys fled from the stairs before seeing the finest crafted weapon of the gods rain down upon the demons. A bookcase. Phasys fled for his life as the bookcase chaotically fell upon the Fallens and undead. Phasys ran out the door and climbed the sheet that Venex had climbed. Phasys saw Thufir falling, luckily not down the stairs. Phasys bolted toward him and caught him.
"Venex! I need your help! It's Thufir, I'm losing him, fast! Johnny, kill the remaining demons!"
Johnny cocked his head to the side before Venex said: "Do it!" Venex then ran toward Thufir.

Phasys stood ground, dogding the oncoming blows and faking a few swings with his knife to buy some time. Seeing Thufir, he smiled. The guy had fight in him even with an injury. However, Thufir's leg was hurting, and he misjudged one of his throws by shifting his weight on the other leg. The knife sailed right for Johnny, but sailed harmlessly through his rib cage, while impaling a demon's throat.
"Hurry though Venex, this won't last forever!"

Phasys let go, and dropped into Venex's arms. They both it the ground.
"Hurry, get to the front door before it's broken! They can't get to Thufir, he's in no state to fight!" As if on que, the most deafening crash erupted. BOOM! Phasys heard the door splinter, and dashed at whatever evils he would face.
Venex quickly followed. They ran inside to see Johnny bravely swinging his scythe at the oncoming monsters. A horde of monsters. Johnny was determined to defend Thufir. He slowly backed away, unable to hold back the oncoming demons. Venex and Phasys attacked from the back, still at the bottom of the stairs. They worked their way up, hacking, stabbing, and impaling the demons. By now the demons had realized they were being attacked from both ways. Half of them faced Venex and Phasys. The real battle had begun.

"Thufir, you must lie down, trust me, you need to heal your wounds. And Venex, stand by the stairs, and if the door breaks, give them hell. This is what I will do: I will jump back to the house on the other side via the window. I will sneak down and cut off the monsters from the back. When I yell, open the door and rush in with Johnny. Thufir should be safe."
With approving nods from both Venex and Thufir, Phasys set for the window. Boom! Another deafening roar.
"Remember, watch the door!"
Phasys once again jumped through the window, but misjudged it this time, he reached the other window, but only with his hands... he was hanging on for life. Phasys quickly estimated the distance to the ground, and knew he couldn't survive.
"Venex! I need a pillow, trust me!"

Phasys stared at Thufir with a blank expression. Then he burst out laughing at the situation... a bit too loud, especially right by the window. Phasys suddenly stopped laughing when he realized the danger he could have put the group into. He stood there with a solemn look before asking:
"How are your wounds feeling? By the way, I am Phasys, now a member of the Order of the Hammer. I guess with this battle going on, any human is a friend..."
Phasys extended his hand to shake Thufir's when there was a deafening roar. It came from outside by the door. Boom! The door was being pummeled by some kind of force. Phasys quickly apologized, saying it was his fault for laughing so loud. Phasys and Venex creeped down the stairs to see the source of the commotion when Phasys turned around and said in a quiet voice:
"I have a plan, it will definitley work, I just need to know something, will the door hold for long?"

"I do not know if you recall me. I am Phasys, the one who was talking to Zubin in the Tavern. I am very young, forgive my ignorance, but, does Johnny have feelings? Does he feel pain? Can he die?"
Venex laughed at this and then replied: "You amuse me friend, the curiosity of a young one is always interesting to watch. Yes, Johnny does have feelings, and he can die... sadly." Venex strode over to Thufir Hawat and pointed at him while exclaiming: "This is Thufir Hawat, he served in the battle. It's a miracle that he made it here himself, he was practically a goner in the field."
Phasys walked around the room, as if thinking. He patted the wall and said: "This house is very secure, and only has two windows, the second one cannot even be noticed from the street. Do you mind if I rest here with you two? Oh yes, here are some things I took along the way to this room, I didn't know you were staying here, sorry."
Phasys waited for Venex to respond to Phasys' question about residing in the house while pacing about the room, making further inspections.

Phasys, proud of his recruitment into the Order of the Hammer, was looking for some kind of inn to stay at. He then realized that after the battle, more then half the homes would be empty. Phasys grinned at his sheer luck, and continued walking until he saw a very large house. What Phasys did not notice was the flying sheet next door. Phasys stepped into the house and secured the door. He made a routine check of the basement and top three floors. Phasys went to the second floor to see that one of the bedrooms had an open window with the breeze flying into the room, giving it a cold and ominous feel. Phasys went to the window, about to close it, when he heard voices. Phasys' thief insticts automatically took over, so he put his dagger in his mouth, holding it with his teeth.
It was a large jump, from one window do the window of the next house, but he was confident. Phasys took a step backward, charged forward, and soared right through the window next door, and managed to roll forward without a sound. The voices were now louder. He stealthed forward and took anything of value from the house. Phasys' eyes went wide with shock when he saw the blood trail leading to the room with the voices. Murderers. Phasys quietly peeked into the room, and was relieved to see an injured warrior, sitting with Venex, Zubin's friend. Of course the skeleton was there too. Big surprise. Phasys walked into the room with a jubilant smile, and then Venex jumped up with his wand pointed straight at Phasys' face, before realizing it was him. Venex smiled back and said:
"How did you get in here?"
"Through the window, of course." replied Phasys as though it were the most obvious thing in the world.

Phasys listened to everything that they had to tell him with an intent look on his face.
"I do not care if my recruitment is with SICK or the Order of the Hammer. From what you tell me, both of them battle for the greater good. I have never killed a person in my life, but my stealth would definitley make it much easier. Perhaps on an infiltration site I would help. So now I ask you: Is there a spot in the Order of the Hammer? Are there requirements?"
