Yeah, a lot was lost from ancient Greece, that's why we called the epoch after the romans the dark ages
The Incas (or the Aztecs) also had a model of an airplane in one of their old treasures, but as everything else it was made out of gold and quite ornamental, so that one couldn't fly.

We can trace radiation, it is simply done by checking what element it is, and then checking it's Half-life.
Half-life designates how long it takes for half of an element an element to fall apart. Uranium has a half-life of around a million years, while Thorium (I believe, has a half-lfe of less than a second.
For example, if you have 10 Uranium-atoms, then after those couply of million years, 5 will remain. After another of those million years, 2.5 will remain (well, either 3 or 2.)
You simply check how much the element has fallen apart on the site to see how long since it happened. In the Indian village I believe it was dated to about 8.000 b.c.
This is the same method that we use to date anything containing coal younger than 50.000 years, we measure the number of Coal-14 isotopes in the item in question.

Yes FingolfinGR, volcanic activity can produce the same effects, but, that creates a high impurity in the glass due to dust and ashes. This glass was 97% pure.
What exacly do you mean by tracing radiation?
Wait, are you referring to the poem? If so, then how do you suppose he launched it, made it into a projectile, and encoated it in iron?

Glad to hear it. And how are you supposed to react jarhead89? Well, you could accuse the government of conspiracy theories, you could kill yourself out of despair, you could devote yourself to bringing out the truth. Or you could simply read and understand that we probably don't know as much as we think we do.

Gurkha,
flying a swift and powerful vimana
hurled a single projectile
Charged with all the power of the Universe.
An incandescent column of smoke and flame
As bright as the thousand suns
Rose in all its splendour...
a perpendicular explosion
with its billowing smoke clouds...
...the cloud of smoke
rising after its first explosion
formed into expanding round circles
like the opening of giant parasols...
..it was an unknown weapon,
An iron thunderbolt,
A gigantic messenger of death,
Which reduced to ashes
The entire race of the Vrishnis and the Andhakas.
...The corpses were so burned
As to be unrecognizable.
The hair and nails fell out;
Pottery broke without apparent cause,
And the birds turned white.
After a few hours
All foodstuffs were infected...
...to escape from this fire
The soldiers threw themselves in streams
To wash themselves and their equipment.
So, what is this? I think most of you would agree that this sounds like some sort of nuclear explosion.
It certainly describes a terrible explosion. Hair and nails that fall out does happen due to radiation. Burned corpses is something we all know from Hiroshima, and charged with all the power of the universe... Well, the only thing more worse than a nuclear explosion would perhaps be an anti-matter bomb, in terms of destruction.
Where does it come from? Well, it actually is an from the Mahabharata, ancient Indian religious scripts, dated to be more than 6.000 years old.
Other passages accurately describes airplanes (which vimana supposedly means), and a war against other nations.
Other things here in the world seem to be just a tad strange. In India, excavations conducted by archaeologists have found a village that is radiocactive.
In Iraq, they have found an ancient battery contructed in pottery.
In the Cheops pyramid, a model of an an airplane was found. It is completely correct aerodynamically, and could fly.
In Africa, they have found glass layers in the sand. These share many similarities to those that are created after an atomic explosion.
There are no records of Cheops building the pyramid at Giza, only of him repairing it.
The Cheops pyramid is built at the exact spot where on the longitude and latitude, there is the most land in the whole world.
The foundation of the Cheops pyramid is done with more precision than what contructing companies do today.
So what does all of this mean? Well, if you search the net, you quicly come across numerous theories about Atlantis having existed, aliens creating humans as slaves, immortal cultures and other things. Such concepts are hard to graps, but does not all of this seem a bit strange to you?
I would gladly like to hear your opinions on this, if you know something more, or anything. Maybe you think I'm making this all up. I'm not so sure myself. Whenever you try to find actual evidence on all of this, lo and behold, you never find anything.
