Haha, I always start off with a Scythe necro (That skill that acts like zeal/fury) and end up switching to a bone necro later on.
Bone builds are impossible till level 12, anyways, so I guess it makes sense.
It's tempting to stay with a melee necro at later levels, but his squishyness makes me kinda worried that he'll die in seconds.
I leave the melee to my druid... fuck do I ever love werewolves in ES, you ever tried one?

If I had fancy gloves, yes :/.
Still working on making my guys as badass as before, lost all my old characters.
Working on a bone spirit necro right now, going for a fury druid next.

Yeah, you can reallocate your stat points.
There is a program that should be in the start menu under Eastern Sun, as well as being located in the program files, in the save folder.
The icon is warriv, it's called D2sutil or something.

Alright for one, I'm not making shit up lol, u never stated that it was ur opinion, u said it as if it was a fact, not an opinion, that's the problem.
Point out for me where I apparently said that my opinion is a global fact.
And yes I do realize that u could mean that
That I could mean that?
Well, judging by how I said I DO mean that, I'd say it's a safe bet that yes, indeed I do mean that.
however, forgive me for giving MY opinion, but it sounds very much like you're biased against XL. How long have u actually played XL before?
Quite some time, I played it before I started playing ES, decided it wasn't my cup o' tea, and moved on to ES.
Also, how do you play D2 anyway? What do you wish to gain from it?
Usually a melee character, speed is a must.
.. I wish to gain a greater understanding of myself, and of life in general.
*facepalms*
What the hell would I want to gain from D2?
What IS there to gain aside from arthritis?
This is a game, not philosophy.
and what makes u feel that that the differences in Eastern sun are BETTER than those of median?
Because I like it better?
I mean it IS ur opinion and that's fine, but the 2 mods aren't even close to similar.
Thats... my fucking.... point.
Eastern sun is obviously for changing the entire gameplay of D2 all the way through. Median XL, however, was obviously made for the purpose of more specific challenge (uberquests) and a totally new approach to characters.
Exactly, I enjoy the new gameplay added by ES, instead of the shiny new uberquests offered by MXL. It's just new shit to kill, yippee.
You can't fairly choose which of the 2 is better because the purposes of both are different. All you can really do is decide which one u prefer to play because of ur own expectations of D2
*rages*
Yes, I CAN choose which one is better, because I can choose which one i prefer to play because of my own expectations of D2.

Haha, I'll give it another try I guess :(.
Seriously though, this will be round 3, it's not looking good.

Just because it's new, does not make it better. By that logic, we should like new things, simply because they are new, and not because of overall functionality and inventiveness.
...Refer to above.
Just because it's a new play experience, does not make it a GOOD experience.
Yes, ES's skills are similar, but they have still been changed, rebalanced, and reworked to better suit the character.

Not to mention the completely new skill trees, while bland as some say, ARE completely new. median is the only mod that totally redid the skill trees, and I personally was drawn to that aspect.
... I hate to use this as an argument, but...
So what?

Lol, well I don't know the exact level, I was just ballparking it.
Basically I'm trying to say we got raped at a low level and needed a higher level char to save us.
Roni or something...

Haha, nice.
I still remember the first time I beat Nilithak with my bud, we had to bring in a level 90 or so sorc to save our asses, we got completely raped by the wyverns.
Those rats... my god I hated those things.
It's really quite sad that not many people play ES anymore, seems everyone has migrated over to MXL.
I really can't stand MXL :/.

Well, if you manage to collect 3 uniques of the same base item, then you can tramsute them to get it.
Gambling chits may also be a good idea, just compare the price to gamble, to the price of a gambling chit.

They're a complete bitch to upgrade, you need 100 crystals to make a normal one.
Might be somewhere around 9 for a flawed one..
And you need to use the crystal can to upgrade them, I think.

And actually, there is ES online.
Closed B-net realms, diablofreaks or some shit like that.

When did I say that EVERYONE likes what I like, or that I like the same thing in every game.
You're taking my post, and extrapolating meaning out of it that wasn't even there to begin with, don't make shit up.
*facepalms*
Noooo, I'm arguing that the changes in MXL aren't necessarily good, which you seem dead set that they are.
And, arguing that the changes in ES changed it in such a way that I found it enjoyable.
It would be a contradiction if I said "ALL CHANGE SUCKS.", then said that "ES CHANGES ROX."
I'm leaving "change" open to interpretation whether it is a good change, or a bad change, not lumping all changes into the shitty category.
Reading comprehension man, work on it.
