Symphonic Metal? More like fake Metal. Go listen to some real stuff, not a band who doesn't know whether they want to look really badass and spooky, be Gothic, play Black Metal (which they so utterly fail at doing), or just kiss each other when nobody is looking. God I hate them.
Note: They are more like mainstream Black-Metal...or rather, they were before Thornography.
Okay thanks for the correction. I wasn't really sure because in some of thier song the have some symphonic stuff. btw Damnation and a Day is a great album
Cradle of Filth's best individual songs are:
Hallowed Be Thy Name
Nymphetamine Fix
Saffron's Curse
Cthulhu Dawn
Nemesis
If you are going for an album, "Damnation and a Day" or "Cruelty and the Beast" are your best options.

Yeah, you sure know your Metal. Well enough to not know that Hallowed Be Thy Name is an Iron Maiden song, and Cradle of Filth just covered it..and horribly so.

I do agree that Cradle's cover of Hallowed Be Thy Name is shit. Is there any reason to get so defensive though??
Don't lie. You said "individual songs". Either you're very weak in English, or you're lying. I don't care if you knew or not, just don't give false advice.

I like my coffee black, just like my metal.
It's the decisions you make when you have no time to make them that define who you are.
Actually, no.
It's quoted from a horrible song that doesn't even represent metal.
