well, it just occured to me, the new monster. the spinning demon thing. (i cant remember its name but if someone will be so kind to say it i will change it)
it is suppose to deflect ranged weapon damage. which the wizard and witch doctors have but they also have melee damage too.
so what if there was suppose to be a ranged class? how would you defeat it. so in sense they have to have some kind of other damage other then range.
*just occured to me and figured i would throw it out there*
he only reflects the damage while spinning and he doesn't constantly spin. The strategy is to only attack it when he is not spinning. Even the melee characters get damaged by his spin.

Blizzard does some of the best balancing out there. The closest that any game has come to Blizzard is Oblivion, and Oblivion gets boring after a while.
Not only that but the idea of an all-out ranged character is flawed. The Amazoness and Rogue both had the ability to use (and effectively, I might add) melee weapons in certain situations. Javazon is still one of the funnest builds out there (albeit slightly worthless).
They wouldn't make an all-ranged class, that would be counter productive. It has to have some sort of melee or magic-oriented powers subjective to it.

True true. It was either bowazon or javazon.
A physical-only ranged class wouldn't work too well at all..
