[(READ)]I want to see the ability to pick if your on diablos side or the good side. But on to the story line. Diablos henchmen of course are back... and more powerful then before! They have wiped out all the cities there is only a few hidden and scarce encampments. As you move along so does the necromancer which has become extremely powerful and has mastered the spell revive. He goes to diablos layer and eventually revives him (later in game). But this time diablo is undead and has cooler abilities :). I dont know how you could play on diablos side but you know.... maybe take down encampments etc. When you face diablo he gets low health and then the necromancer wants diablos power and absorbs it through a soul stone. Thats all i got- Add ons?

[A smart one to understand, a dumb one to believe.
Understand science or believe in god?]
Yeah, on note of that necromancer idea... maybe not all the high council or whatever sacrificed themselves for that protective ward thingy in act 5...
I know that nathi..eeeak... something or rather didn't sacrifice himself and you had to kill him, but what if maybe another guy also didn't and... he was the guy (evil necromancer).. maybe he got pissed that Tyreal destroyed the World Stone, or got corrupted by baal previously.. i dont know, just thoughts.
Maybe he somehow manages to kill Tyreal, and ressurect him from the dead or something... and ressurect Diablo (like you said). you could even go as far as him ressurecting Tal Rasha and other "not-so-publisized" characters. anyways, once again just more thoughts throw'n out there for you guys to criticise
Anyways, it did mention that there was no set consiquence from destroying the World Stone, so there are lots of possibilities
Thanks but no thanks. This would be a really hard storyline to create and even harder to play multiplayer. It wouldn't make sense for people to be on different sides.
