If any one is willing, I would love some feedback on my character. I have never done this before and am not sure I am doing it correctly. You can find his bio on pg.8 I was going for an old crazy man who can summon and poison.

I thought it was pretty good. The only thing I am not sure of though is how we are going to talk to him. If he just laughs like a madman how will me communicate? other than that great job
Well, he went crazy due to his solitude and lack of purpose. Now that he is in the knights of the burning blade he has a purpose and won't be as crazy. I was planning to add an occasional Hehehe hahaha in with his regualr speech.
Remember the baboon from lion king. Sort of like him
"you, hehehe, you may call me Kifu"

Been on this forum like fucking constantly lately, need to get a new job.
Was actually going downtown to apply at a new place in a couple minutes after I ate ^^.
Once I start working again, my posts per day will fall considerably :/.

"One in every 10 million people can potentially have a headache from this pill." God forbid she is the 0.000000001% of having a headache.
I have never done this before so I went back to the older ones for concepts and I am still a little confused.
first person vs. third person. In reading the old threads there was inconsistency between this. Is one considered correct or preferred or does it not matter.
I assumed first person but I could be wrong.
I am also still wondering if we are allowed to have multiple characters. I have another idea for a character that is little more creative than the WD and would like to do both. I don't feel post amounts will be a problem for me. I go on this site almost too much according to my wife. not to mention I make many posts on my iphone even when I am at work. So if anything this will just add more posts, given I would not post twice, once form one and one form the other, they would take their turns fairly.

Don't bother with the old threads (the ones with D3.com in their names), they're out-dated (from a long time ago, before the domain name change). Just worry about the rules here for this RP.
As for first-person vs. third-person, I think we're going to be writing this like a novel would be written, a normal third-person novel. This makes sure that everyone knows who they are responding to, instead of everyone just saying "I did this" and "I did that". First-person, I believe, is only in speech, therefor, and is absent from all non-speech (or non-thought) areas.
So, what I mean is, you wouldn't type the following:
I quickly ran to the threshold of the temple and, casting aside my misgivings, readied my dagger in my hand and swept quickly in to the shadows.
"I hope they have not begun, yet!" I whispered to myself, hoping against hope that I was not too late.
But this would be correct:
Jallial quickly ran to the threshold of the temple and, casting aside her misgivings, readied her dagger in her hand and swept quickly in to the shadows.
"I hope they have not begun, yet!" she whispered to herself, hoping against hope that she was not too late.
Now, if you're talking about speech, and you meant to question if your character was allowed to have some mental disorder, I don't think it matters in speech. For instance:
"Smelwret loves to hold the rubied knife, yes, he loves it very much so. He loves to taste it, to lick up and devour that despicable man's blood, to taste his death. Smelwret loves it very much"
As in, talking to yourself, or referring to yourself, in the third-person, should be okay in speech as long as it matches your character and is consistent.
Or at least that's what I think. It's up to Jetrall and Elfen, so I guess it would be best to see what they have to say.
Please keep all roleplay in third-person. This message is for everyone.
Seth's second example there is correct. All posts should be written in this style...

Please do not post off-topic posts in here. That is not allowed anywhere. I edited it out of your post, but I mean, come on. You even admitted in the post it was off topic. Why would you post it?
How is magic supposed to work in this RP? Like, I know what our elements are and everything, and the other odd magicks, like demonic magic and I guess faith power or whatever the Zakarum use, since this is supposed to be... strictly?.... a Diablo-based RP, but how are we supposed to express our limits?
Yes i was kind of wondering the same thing Seth. How are we supposed to like describe our spells we cast becaus eit would be stupid if I was just like
"Back foul beast!," yelled <insert characters name here> as he casted Bone Spear
My apologies if you already explained this Jetral
Example of Bone Spear would be something like this...
Venexicus pulled himself up from the dusty ground, eyes never leaving his foe as he slowly stood. Wiping the grit from his face with the back of his hand, he began to conjure a mental image of his next spell. It was one he had learned long ago, when he was younger and abler, but he would attempt it all the same.
"Tag Oul be with me," he muttered under his breath as his hideous attacker took another earth-crunching step towards him.
His mental image sharpened, became clear. He closed his eyes at last, focusing all his energy inwards. He could feel his hands begin to shake violently, involuntarily, as he channeled the unimaginable powers of the many planes beyond into a singular shaft of deadly magic. Dropping to his knee, he let out a shout of defiance. The large creature before him growled in response.
"Eat this!" he yelled, the force of the blast nearly knocking him over.
A bolt of searing hot white energy shot forth from his hand, forming the shape of a long sharp spear. It sailed gracefully towards its target, screeching with the voices of all his fallen comrades, thirsty for vengeance. With a brilliant flash it struck the demonic beast. It let out a loud cry of despair as the spear penetrated its thick hide and passed through its innards, ripping and tearing as it went, its potent and deadly energy simultaneously ripping and cauterizing fesh as it went.
With a final flash as the spear dissapeared, the monstrous creature fell forward to the ground, its bulk making the tiny stones that littered the quarry jump. The necromancer stood slowly, shaking his old bones back to their proper places as best he could.
"You are avenged," he said, at last.
Just cooked that up specially for you guys.
Of course it need not be quite so detailed, but the idea is to describe it rather than just name it.
So you can't go in and say "I'm throing my level 20 ball of fire, now you burn!"
In theory you could, but nobody would get what you were saying and would likely think you were crazy. (IOW: Don't say that).
Then what of the issue of mana? How would that work?
Use your imagination. It's some 'cosmic energy force' that 'flows through the body like a stream through a forest' or some such stuff. I'm making this up as I go here which means anyone can do the same thing.

Donsro, give Jetrall or Elfen Lied a PM. They're the guys who are running this. No doubt they'll let you join in.
