This was a first for me, so I am counting on you wonderful people to help me out. I posted an item on the AH and when I go back after it didnt sell I see a red exclamation mark next to the item and it says canceled. So I hover over the exclamation mark and it tells me Blizzard sent me an email explaining why my item was canceled.
This is the email.
An auction associated with this Diablo III account has encountered an issue and has been cancelled for the protection of the parties involved. While we strive to minimize any auction cancellations and regret the inconvenience involved, keeping the auction house safe and secure is something we take very seriously. Any funds used to participate in this auction will be returned to the buyer, and the item will be returned to the seller in the Diablo III auction house “Completed” tab.
Thank you for your understanding in this matter. Please feel free to post/bid on the item again and otherwise continue to use the Diablo III auction house as you would normally.
Maybe a known chinese farmer/account stealer bid on it and they were in the process of banning that person. After they banned him/her.. the saw this item was bought so they returned it. They didn't want you to have the stolen gold.
Well too bad for them! If I post them again it will be on d2jsp or here. I am kinda sad though thinking I could be at least 25mil richer...which at the going rate of gold would get me half an upgrade!

Yeah this happens when a hacked account, or someone who got gold in a "not legit" way buys items and it happens to be one of the checked auctions. (im sure there may be others reaosns as well)
This usually happens if there is something suspicious about the buyer, seller, a bidder, or the item itself. A lot of items on RMAH get investigated automatically so you'll get delays before you receive items or payments even if someone used buy out.
I saw a bid on an item disappear yesterday and then reappear later on in the day. I also sometimes get e-mails where people bid and then cancelled the bid. I get this 3-4 times per week.

I posted for 25mil bid and 75mil buyout, but didnt expect it to sell. However, after reading the email I think someone bid on it.
Has anyone had this happen before, and do you know why it happened?
Thank you
