This wizard build is meant to be in their faces most of the time. it's going to happen eventually, why not start now?
Why i choose each option I did:
Spectral Blades with Healing Blades: For those times when enemies are up in your face (which should be almost always). The healing on a critical is very nice with the situation
Ray of Frost with Cold Blood: Free 200% damage AND slow? For that, I'd be the little boy asking for seconds on the gruel. Good thing I don't have to~
Slow Time with Time Warp: Again, mainly for those times when you're being swarmed. Taking more damage while already debuffed is a major plus in those situations
Ice Armor with Chilling Aura: This is Diablo. You're going to get hit. Debuff those monsters for daring to attack~
Blizzard with Frozen Solid: AoE DoT with a chance to freeze solid. All about the debuffs, man
Explosive Blast with Obliterate: Short fuse, big boom
Black Ice: More cold damage to chilled and frozen monsters? For a Cold wizard, this is a must
Blur: Less damage taken means more damage given.
Astral Presence: More Arcane Power and faster regen for those big spells, especially with an "in your face" build
This is mainly a PvP build that could be quite effective. It is focused mainly on slows and aoe dmg. Also it has buffs for team mates, and lifesteal. It should be enought to keep enemies at distance while your mates nuke them. It should be tried in action but it surely has a lot of potential.
Barbarian tank build intended to lead the fight taking all of the damage so the damage deals can focus on what they do best without having to move around and dodge attacks. Hopefully will stop your group from getting instantly killed by elite packs as most of us have seen many times on Diablo 2 hell mode in bad gear!!!
The reason I picked this build is because whirlwind is my favourite D2 skill. I want to see how it goes in D3. I tried picking other skills that will compliment WW.
Well I'm making a Monk, focused on assisting a Barb via Mantras, CC, and Speed.
I have not played the Monk.. obviously, And I'd almost guarantee that this build would change in the event of an inferno/hell play through.
Skills-
Deadly Pierce and Fists of thunder would be situationally used.
Lashing Tail Kick (Scorpion Sting) Would be used to CC for 'slow' barb, while they're stunned the monk would be moving on to more mobs to aggro and CC while tanky/damage barb kills.
Blinding Flash (Blinded and Confused) Would be to deaggro mobs that the barb cannot handle.
Dashing Strike would be to quickly aggro/slow lots of mobs, or use for movement.
Manta helps both monk and barb tank, as well as any more monks, barbs, or squishies.
Passives-
Resolve - Help Barb Tank
Sieze the Initiative - More tank for aggro
Exalted Soul - Extra spirit cap to save up for Dashing Strike/Blinding Flash/Lashing Tail Kick in case of emergencies
Things I May Change-
Probably end up changing Resolve and Seize the Initiative Passives, again, not sure on what inferno/hell or how any character is going to tank.
Spirit Gens will probably change.
I've seen a lot of support monk builds with Heal.
If anyone sees any severe flaws, or any barbs that strongly DISKLIKE/LIKE this, throw me a PM, i'm open for opinions.
First off the second i saw the Monk video I knew that was the class i wanted to play.
I have been messing around with monk builds since the calculator has been introduced. I have followed the changes to the game since then. Now I like to put my skills in order of the amount i will use them and find the best possible place for optimum dps. my first skill is exploding palm i wanted that since i first read it, now with the rune i have chosen if i work my skills correctly it is going to add up to some serious AoE dps while making big bloody messes. If things get tight and i need some breathing room i've got my lashing tail kick of fire fury to knock them back and give myself a chance to heal. Now i runed aoe damage while I heal so i can hurt while i fix the hurt. Sweeping wind is so i can build spirit and cause an AoE around me while i punch fools down. now my mantra is still up in the air on which i want to use but its always fun to hurt people while they try and hurt me. I want to duel wield weapons, when given the choice in a game i always take that option that is why i choose the passive to increase my dodge while duel wielding. some of my rune choices and passives are to midigate damage as much as possible, cause am going to be in some heavy heat when i hit nightmare, hell, and inferno so i need to make them not hit me or hit me for less damage as possible
I will play as a barbarian most of the time in Diablo 3 and this is a PvE build which I finally decided upon.
I've chosen 'Bash' as my primary fury generator skill because its rune allows me to generate 12 fury on each blow, which is quite high. I was thinking of using two fury generator spammable skills but I've given up on 'Cleave' because I think I may need that slot for a situational skill which could be a life-saving one.
'War Cry' is a skill I really like since it gives both buff and fury. Don't wanna miss this one.
'Hammer of the Ancients' is my main fury spender skill. Its +%15 critical hit chance and the damage boost rune makes this skill decent enough against all kinds enemies.
'Battle Rage' is also a nice buff with low fury cost and long enough duration. 20 fury means like 1,5 'Bash' blows for me so it's almost a free skill.
Apart from the 'War Cry' buff, I don't have any defensive skills yet so I decided to take 'Overpower' and 'Revenge' as my panic buttons. The reason for selecting them is that these two skills deal decent AoE damage and both are fury-free. The rune I selected for 'Overpower' makes it a good life-saver skill and the rune for 'Revenge' takes its proc chance up to %30, which is really high.
As passives, I've made my selection with two damage skills and one life-leech defensive skill. I will have %18 crit bonus only from my skills while an axe or mace is equipped and 'Battle Rage' is on. I care about my crit chance because if 'Overpower' crits, its cooldown is reset immediately.
So that's my PvE build for my Barbarian. Hope you like it. I'll be searching for interesting builds of other people as well on this post.
It's a support build designed to be played in PvE with a few friends. As such I've taken skills and runes which I feel (with what limited experience I have) would be ideal for the group setup I'd likely be running with; Demon Hunter, Barb and Sorc.
The focus generators would be swapped in and out depending on the situation.
My wizzard AoE build where I will use electrocute with surge of power to generate arcane power for my arcane hungry AoE spells. I've chose to get frost nova with shatter, wave of force with impactful wave and paralyse to keep enemies at bay and off me. My main dmg spells will be blizzard with stark winter aswell as arcane orb with arcane nova. As an o-shit ability for those sticky situations I got archon with teleport to get me away from the danger and mobs really quickly. In addition I've chosen power hungry to further support my arcane power regen and arcane dynamo for extra damage.
This is just a fun build that focuses on making a wizard into a tank. You cast support spells such as hydra along with armors and weapon and imbue. You also have buffs that give you health for damage dealt.
This is mostly a PvM archery focused demon hunter. Basically a crap ton of mobility to get you away from your foes while upping the damage of your arrows to the max. Should be a rather fun if not neat build!
Haunt: Keep at least one haunt going at all times to generate mana.
Spirit Barrage: Try to keep one active as much as possible.
Huge Toad: Drop these guys next to tough enemies to at least take them out of combat for a few seconds. Hopefully, they'll still damage bosses even if they can't swallow them.
Dogs and Gargantuan: Obviously, keep them up as much as possible.
Acid Cloud: General AoE for large groups or when I have extra mana.
This is mainly a PvE build, but I also want to try it for PvP. Swarming minions could be very powerful in an arena and the build will make it easy to dodge attacks while still doing damage.
This built mean to be fun and letal, your 4 offensive skill are of different range type (chain, straight line, proximity and AoE/DoT).
Most likely you will need to sacrifice some fire power active/pasive skill and get def skills for hell and inferno
As we all know in the diablo series there are always HUGE swarms of monsters, so when the game is released im going to play as a wizard.... and here is my ULTIMATE AOE BUILD!
Summon Zombie Dogs - Leeching Beasts (adds Life Steal)
Gargantuan - Humongoid (adds Cleave - AoE)
Fetish Army - Devoted Following (Shorten Cooldown)
Grasp of the Undead - Unbreakable Grasp (Increases Slow %)
-Use Pets as a distraction/clean up small enemies, when things get to hairy, lay down a Fetish Army.
-Trap enemies in Grasp of the Undead, cast Firebomb and Acid Cloud on top of that area.
Passives--
Pierce the Veil
Zombie Handler
Spiritual Attunement
Pierce the Veil and Spirtual Attunement go hand and hand, more mana but spells are cast at 30% more. Seeing as I only have 2 spells that I can really spam, I figured the 20% damage bonus would go alot farther than the additional mana I'd save.
Zombie Handler will help give my Dogs and Gargantuan that extra little buff, along with a 4th puppy to play with

My summoner WD build
This is mostly a PvM archery focused demon hunter. Basically a crap ton of mobility to get you away from your foes while upping the damage of your arrows to the max. Should be a rather fun if not neat build!
All 6 skills are designed to do long term damage.

The main focus of the build is Spirit Barrage.
It utilizes Soul Harvest to increase the potency of Spirit Barrage and has Grasp of the Dead and a snare on Haunt to keep the uglies away.
Spirit Walk for those moments I get in a jam and need some mana.
The Zombie Dogs are for company on those long walks and some extra health with the rune.
And the passives to help keep my mana flowing.
http://us.battle.net...PQmR!XYa!aacaaa
this is probably the build I will use for farming areas with large amounts of enemies, with some passives to reduce down time.
http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/wizard#eZWQUS!cTX!aabaZb
every spell is based around AOE damage.... will absolutely destroy giant swarms of mobs
