Now suppose the rumor floating around was true that the two factions you can choose would be Heaven Or Hell as mentioned on numerous sites I think that we have all seen. Just a curious poll on where the community stands.

-I would appreciate it if we left religon out of the decisions and or arguemnts, if its physicaly possible..
Heaven for me to start off with but i would def get around to playing hell..Heaven first only because imo i believe heaven would stand for the defensive side as opposed to hell which would probably be stronger offensivly. I always believe a good defence is what makes a good offence so thats just my 2 cents
Well i'd choose heaven seeing as through the story your good etc, + i wanna side with tyreal. ++(on a side note) How do you think the ending of LOD will fit into this heaven vs hell story>?
the story line of LOD fits in because the world stone is destroyed connecting earth heaven and hell. I pesonally voted to start as evil getting to fight tyreal would be awesome
if blizzard makes a heaven vs. hell i see it as more of an mmorpg because how will battle.net work if there's hell and heaven players working togther unless battle.net has heaven and hell sections
You fucking retarded ass sonofabitch! You seriously think you could cast a fireball at Gheed just because you were a n00b137 enough to gamble in the beginning of the game? Well i got a few words for you: NOT IN TOWN, MOUTHAFUCKA!
maybe they wiull just have the game as a corrupted hero who joins the hell side...and u have to take over heaven/earth...No choice just play as hell side only to end the trilogy
It never truly occured to me that they might end the Diablo series in a trilogy. But you are right. Although I'd want for the Diablo series to keep going, I'm not so sure if they can continue with the storyline forever.
And it is quite hard to out-do the preceding games to each Diablo. I think they'd have a tough enough job to follow Diablo2:LOD.
Well, what I think would happen is that... now that the Worldstone has been destroyed, the realms would be able to shift around one another, kind of like a merge between Earth, Heaven, and Hell.
Even though they didn't quite tell us what the Worldstone is for; from what I've perceived from the game, I think the Worldstone is something that keeps most entities (Hell/Heaven), away from the mortal realm. That's why Diablo needs a body to possess each time (as with the Prime Evils).
Well, now that it's destroyed, I think we'd start to see more demons and angels. That's why I think it might be Heaven vs. Hell. Rather, it might even be Heaven vs. Hell vs. Mortal Realm.
From what we've seen, there were mortals that sided with Hell like Nilathak and Lazarus. There were even angels that sided with Hell like Izual. And well, most of the humans were basically siding with Heaven. So, I think the Diablo 3 creators might go towards that perspective. The perspective that humans are about to pick which side they'd belong to.
After all, that's why the Angels and Demons were interested with the Mortal Realm. They believe that the influence of the Mortal Realm will help them sway the tide to their favour, because the war between Heaven and Hell is currently in a stalemate. So to win, both sides need the favour of the Mortal Realm. Whoever the mortals side with, is most likely to win.
