Hey everyone, I've got a bit of a problem trying to properly fine-tune my gear. I have a decent ancient BK set, but for the longest time, I've had to keep LOH on one of them, because it gives me soooo much survivability to have 24k more LoH (Only have that + PP)
(ignore the gems and Unforgiving passive, just T6 farming changes)
I'm wondering, I know it's optimal to have +10% damage on weapons, but it makes such a small difference in my damage numbers when I make the change, but a DRASTIC drop in healing. Any suggestions on how to not lose that sweet sweet lack of death? Would you keep it where it is? If you'd change it to 10% damage where would I make up the survivability/healing?
I do have an ancient String of Ears I can replace the Witching Hour with, but then I can't hit the 7.5DD breakpoint, which is oh-so-nice.
To keep the recovery and add the 10% damage you could shift the recovery off to another location.
All slots except pants, belt, boots and shoulders can get life per hit. You could consider rolling off +vit or +% life into LoH or LpS. Prime candidates for this would be chest or bracers. You also could consider rolling the life per fury spent onto a belt instead of vit.
Whether dropping max life for greater recovery ends up being worth it is going to be up to you.
That's the answer I've came to, every alternative gimps my damage much more than the gain I get from the %Damage. Guess I just need a better ancient version with additional stat.

Not worth change 3-4 pieces from set to LoH instead of weapon. You will lose too much damage, much more than the 10% you will receive...
Edit: you will lose more damage or survive... keep LoH in weapons, you will miss it in high level grifts...
