Actually Sun Ce is a good character to play with. You just have to learn all of his abilities, and then he can kill many at a time. The character I hate would have to be Yuan Shao. I hate his charge attack, where he just jumps ahead with his head down. That is the most retarded attack I have ever seen.

I think Lu Bu looks the funniest. Just his whole outfit and how tall he is. When he is on Red Hair or any other horse he looks funny, and then with those antennis sticking out of his head. What about you?

Xu Zhu (or is it Zhu Xu?) did seem to be one of the funny-looking ones, though after reading his historical background, he didn't seem to be portrayed as he should have been. Maybe it's just me.
Meng Huo was another one that I thought was pretty funny. His appearance pretty much dwarfed everyone else, and it made you wonder how he could have possibly been captured as many times as he was.
On a slightly different note, Pang Tong was just plain fun to play as. At first, I thought he was just a boring clone of Zhuge Liang or something, but he really surprised me. Flipping all over the place, bonking people with his staff...yeah.
It's been awhile since I've used him, but from what I remember, he's not that great with crowds. He seems pretty mediocre in comparison to some others (like Lu Bu, but then again, who can really compare to The Man? ), but he's pretty fun overall.
Come to think of it, his attack-style reminds me a bit of the Qiao sisters, but with a little more flipping involved.
My only beef I have with the game is not being able to control some if not all the men. You build rank, yet you only command your gaurds. You would think that they could have used the d-pad for battle orders or commands.
That probably because if you played one than you than you just about played them all.
Unfortunately, that's the problem with beat-em-up games like Dynasty Warriors. There's really nothing to set each game in the series apart, and veteran players will likely get bored very quickly. I think the only game that was really different in any way was the original Dynasty Warriors for Playstation; that was just a straight-out fighting game, though (unless you count the Romance of the Three Kingdoms series, which is strategy-based).
The good side is that the series is incredibly easy for just about anyone to pick up and play, especially for someone being introduced to the genre for the first time.
I was using my custom character. On Dynasty Warriors4. I guess I should have not dueled him, but after hours of playing, I finally beat him in a duel. I was very happy and proud of myself.:D

I did what you said. At the beginning jump, and then they jump at you. Then that is when I hit them and hit them in the air. I do that for the whole match, and I have not lost one yet. Except to Lu Bu.

What character are you using, and what's your set-up? Bodyguard type? I doubt I can help, but I'm more curious than anything.
