So I saw the new Harry Potter last night (midnight showing). I think, out of the entire series, this is the best one.
And, in the spirit of my favorite Harry Potter character, I'm thinking about changing my display name to "Sirius." I'm not sure if I want to though cause I love Azriel.
/shouldidoitguise?
Edit: Neville is a true badass. No, really, that guy is just dripping with pure, unadulterated badassery.

Don't do it. Changing your name is never a good idea. I was skeptical to even take off the 65. People know you as Azriel. Sirius means nothing around here...but Azriel, now THATS a name with reputation.

And I can see why a name like Azriel is completely appropriate for this forum. It sounds Diablo inspired. I mean, at least, that's what I thought when I chose it. I can just hear Cain telling me that I have to go kill Azriel and get some magic amulet or something.
But, yeah, Harry Potter was badass. Kind of sad that it's all over now, but I'm gonna get the Blu-Ray collector's edition if they ever release one. Cause, y'know, I'm a Potterfag.
And something that pissed me off about seeing the movie is that, when something "badass" happened, the crowd would clap and cheer. But, when Harry finally did the ultimate "heroic" thing, nobody did shit.

Lol@super critical movie goers. You guys make me laugh. It's a movie. It's supposed to simply entertain you for a few hours.
I don't understand why people make films out to be this super serious thing with expectations that are never met. It makes no sense to me.
Their acting is fine. The story is good. Fun at the very least. Enjoy it! Or not. Sit on a forum and complain about it. Your call.

I just don't like the fact that the film producers don't realize that the volume needs to be adjusted for DVD release because most people don't have a damn theater for a living room. I was watching Rite, and we had it at a decent volume level and god damn, I swear the damn music was there to blow your eardrums out, yet they didn't want you to hear the people speak. Awesome movie by the way.

I despise "Oh..The books are better".....Those people can jump off a cliff for their misdeeds. I'm so tired of hearing that. It's so cliche and irrelevant. "Ya, no shit. It's a book." Some things are obviously going to be left out when the entire book has to be summed up in less than 2 hours.

Thank. You.
I don't get it. I don't get why people expect the film to be better than the book. That very rarely ever happens. The book will always be better, these fuckers need to get their heads out of their asses and realize that either they like the movie for what it is or like the book for having all the stuff that didn't make it in the movie that they hold so fucking dearly.
The only movie that I can consider better than the original text that the movie is based on is Kenneth Branagh's adaption of Hamlet. Absolutely fucking brilliant.

Yeah, Tolkien's style tends to make a reader overwhelmed. I would actually agree with you that the movies are very good, probably better than the books. The books drag a little bit whereas Peter Jackson make the movies dense, yet accessible, beautiful, and exciting.
I'm so glad he's directing (producing?) The Hobbit. There's no way that Del Toro was even going to touch that without me going to the streets and demanding Jackson's presence in some way. Fuck that.

Also
I love the Forever Alone Comics.
Damn, I have been stumped.
Actually, we should be getting some good news in August (if we're damn lucky).
