I recently saw this movie with my friend. We both love it. Well, its not really a movie to love and be your favourite that makes you feel warm inside, because, well, its really depressing. Its the opposite kind of stoy line that you would usually expect - the characters end up worse off than they started. I really love the score though, and the filming technique, and the characters.
But ahh, it is a really good movie. Very powerful. I realllly love the music for it. *listening to it now*
Oh, and since Atrumentus didn't say anything about the movie, it's about people who abuse drugs. It was made by the same guy who made Pi: Faith in Chaos.
lol, crap, I forgot to say stuff about the movie. I was thinking about this post for a while, thinking of what I would say, and I was gonna say that part, but forgot
You know the Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers trailer? Howard Shore (the movie's composer) used the main theme from Requiem For A Dream as the music for it. He changed it a bit, but the main theme is there. It has become a popular theme.
I really can't stand that movie or its director. His whole filming technique quickly tires on me. And it's too difficult to watch for two hours a bunch of stupid people unnecessarily trashing their lives. Pi was slightly better though.
