PS : Anyone know exactly how the worldstone remained ? did anyone alter it again after the final "pact" to leave Sanctuary as it is !? coz if no one did anything ...then I would assume that's why we are so powerful in Diablo 1 / 2 for example since the power kept growing ...
No, we don't know what happened exactly after that, nor do we know the full effects of the Worldstone being destroyed.
you guys have to take into account that the story isnt perfect because the books were not written by the same person who wrote the original diablo story so there are major flaws in it. which is now why i choose to ignore that the books even exist
I really enjoyed the three sin war novels. My only gripe though is that, I thought the character Uldyssian was annoying and not much of a hero until the end of the third novel. And yes, he kept getting stronger, instead of getting pwned like he should have been lol
He also was all the time being like, "I can't do this, I'm going to fail... wait... I just kicked that demon's ass... HOW DID THAT HAPPEN!? Who cares... I suck these people are stupid for following me... they're all gonna die because I'm an idiot" Too annoying
I like Knaak's work, don't get me wrong, but I think Mel Odom's novel, The Black Road, is the best of the Diablo novels. I've read them all except for Demonsbane. (I didn't even know it existed!) The Black Road absorbed me and was just really fun to read, great story, well depicted action and Kabraxis is just an awesome demon

Instead of having just good and evil, he took it to the point where characters were "pure" and pig headed or deep and evil. I kind of like the idea of there being not right or wrong, other then what the characters decide.
Freewill from the oppressiveness of perfection while maintaining enough order to keep from falling into utter chaos.
BTW: I'm new here. Been observing for a month or so, love the community. Can't wait to get more involved in some more convo.
