On this the16th of september, one day after the 15th, that wonderful day in the lives
of all mexicans everywhere(its our independence day incase you are an uncultured prick. 200 years woot!), I
have found yet another reason why mexicans should be proud.
Vete a la versha is a series of animated clips(can be seen on youtube) that is fucking fantastic.
If you want to know what mexican culture is all about, don't go here, but if you want to see
what the Spanish language is actually like in mexico, then this is your place. Obviously we don't
all wear sombreros, our names aren't all pancho(except mine is), and we don't all say the "mamadas"
on these clips, but I just wanted to share with you, my fellow diablofans, something that made
me laugh today.
I want to say something but I'll keep it to myself I guess and leave this useless post behind to make you aware that there WAS something...
I'm putting this in my sig. This was the most clever way to troll without trolling but still kinda trolling ever. I can't tell you how many time's I've done this but instead of leaving a hint of what could have been I would throw in some random bs.

I can mention how much I do not care about specific days, be it birthdays, Christmas day, New Years day, Groundhog day, etc., but nothing to add to the topic really...
I wanted to know about your ancient history, bout aztec and maya. Are you familiar with that? Can you direct me to info on those topics. Some books or sumtin...
also nice signature and congratulations to all mexicans for their independence day ; )
I'm glad that you are interested in the history Nadnitza. If you were looking to nerd snipe me, then you have succeeded. Its hard
to put everything into one book since there is so much stuff, but you can find lots of things on the internet. I am
definitely not an expert but I do know a lot about the Aztecs/Maya/Olmec/Toltec and other cultures that lived in the valley of
mexico. If you can read spanish, then a good source for information would be the national museum of anthropology in Mexico
(their website), or any of thousands of books you can find on the internet. If you can't read spanish, try something like The course
of Mexican history: Michael Meyer, or just go to your nearest university, find someone in the history department and ask them!
glad you're interested, and glad to be posting on the forums. : )
I find your statement offensive. Why am I an uncultured prick for not knowing your date of independence? Do you know when the Canadian confederation was? Or when every other country became a country? That said. Congratulations on being a free Mexican!

You make a good point. I have no idea about the Canadian confederation or about most countries independence/revolutionary dates. Obviously this comment does not apply to you as you are not an uncultured prick. : ) I turned out to be the uncultured prick this time.... shame.
