Hello everyone,
for ease of use we have started a Diablo 3 Math Wiki, were we trying to share findings and/or build models based on basic attributes and/or statistics gathered around.
We are few people who primary study mathematics at uni/college, some of us are trying to build analytic models of optimal use of gear.
Formulas were taken by various places and by various people, if your finding is there and you feel it should be copyrighted/edited feel free to do so.
On Wiki LaTeX syntax enabled, in case you are adding something
Accepting any Critics. Thanks.
PS: I hope i am not violating any rules about posting links
Looks cool! I've added calculations for optimal gem distribution and wrote an article on EHP. The Defense vs Vitality calculations are very widely applicable, but the Attack vs Precision ones less so. Hopefully it'll be useful as a starting point for more general calculations.
This is very cool indeed, I just wanted to drop in here and say that we're definitely looking to get this kind of information up on http://www.diablowiki.com as well. We don't have the math extension installed currently, but once that's added we're welcoming anyone to contribute and add all of this information you fine folks are coming up with here on the theorycrafting side
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.

Pretty much what I thought at first :P. While it's cool to have a wiki dedicated to this stuff I think I'm personally going to stick to our general Diablo wiki together with this theorycrafting forum even for this kind of stuff.
Also, I don't wanna come off as rude, I know English isn't your first language, but you should look over some of the spelling. For example: "Atributes". You got it wrong on that page, but for "Optimal Attribute Distribution" it's correct. Also I believe you mean "Snippets" not "Snipet".
Mistakes like that would make it hard for someone who is searching for specific information to get to the right page. Again, no offense meant, just something I think you should look at!
I wish you luck and I'll keep checking it in the future to see how it develops!
Thanks for feedback, sadly i don't have anyone near that could do a proper translation, so some mistakes could happen, we will fix them, thanks
We don't pretend to replace/copy things from diablofans, we created this wiki primary for people who wants to share information and by doing so contributing to "character developer" application, which does all the complex math calculations for people without deep knowledge, but wants to use a properly geared hero.
That article about Optimal Stats Distribution is written by Strill.
What we can garantee, that the information from here and other places going to be gathered in one place, (thank you diablofans for sharing) and translated to Russian, which is good part of future Diablo III community. From this all will benefit, people who will know more and you for your hard work finding and researching formulas and models.
